bible told me to forget all those who trespass against tread their feet on sacred ground ;; bad things come with consequence what feels good hurts in the end ;; don't wanna think about that now S A R A H F E E R O She'd just left downtown Addison, driving her older model hoopty and not bothering herself to think what it would be like to drive something better. The bustle of city life was like the lyrics to a melody in her life, but today it was somewhere she needed to get away from. She'd settled her mare in, headed downtown and spoke with her clinic manager and then gone to the bars for a job she could better relate to. One of the popular clubs had snatched her up on the spot and she started later that night, something she was ecstatic to start and dreaded beginning. It was a tricky life she'd left behind but she was determined to start anew, to live like a normal person for the rest of her life. Even if it was just herself and her horse, she was ready for change.
She only had on simple jeans and black flats, along with a loose gray blouse that did nothing to bring out her blue-gray eyes, so she wasn't totally out of the ordinary as she locked up the hoopty and walked quickly up a sidewalk towards the park's inner sanctum of free birds and foliage and solitude. She needed to catch up with herself, remain calm and focus on the future rather than the past. It was only around four in the afternoon so she had plenty of time, so as the sun's warmth flickered across her pale skin and similarly pale hair she appreciated the touch in a way she could never appreciate a man's. After some time of walking doggedly with her face to the ground, she slowed and looked around to take it in. Beautiful and with not many people to be seen, Feero sighed with relief and slowly removed her pretty hands from her denim pockets.
She walked slowly, eyes closed and face pointed towards the sky as her thoughts dissipated from her weary mind. Upon inspection you'd never think this beautiful young woman had ever been a street whore, or that she had been addicted to a vast array of illegal substances. That she was a raging alcoholic but had been clean for three months of the stuff and hoped with all her might to keep it that way. You wouldn't think that she played with Johns on the side for the sake of keeping her bills paid or that all her years on the streets had left her contaminated in a most terminal way, much less that she was two weeks pregnant with no knowledge of it just yet. Only God knew where her life would go when she found out that she hadn't been able to escape the consequences of her choices yet, and that she'd be paying for them for the rest of her life.
Tired and ready to relax before she had to start bartending that evening, Feero lowered herself gently to the emerald grass beneath a live oak, towering and beautiful in its life. She leaned against the trunk, blond hair pressed up just slightly behind her and blue gray eyes closing as her fingers played gently across the surface of the grass which surrounded her. Birds of different sorts cried out their songs to one another and a fountain could be heard splashing like a distant waterfall somewhere far to her left; it was truly a relaxing place, something she would have to remember for next time.F I R E && B R I M S T O N E dirt and a headstone bury 'em baby, all of our sins hear the T H U N D E R six feet U N D E R hit your K N E E S won't do it again comments: LOVE HERRRRR

"there's a train leaving town, if you hurry up, i think you might just make it, dammit i hope you make it."[/blockquote][/blockquote] It was four in the afternoon and he was just now getting himself up. He grunted, running his hand through his messy hair as he rose from his bed and managed to get to his window without falling back into bed. He opened the curtains and let the afternoon light pour in. Another time of nightmares and little sleep. He coughed once and backed away from the window and looked back to his bed, but simply shook his head and made his way into his closet.
Taring into the clothes that are there, he managed to find a clean shirt and clean shorts. He grunted again while pulling on his socks and sneakers and then he made his way back to the window. This was what the doctor ordered. In order for him to get over all of this, he had to keep his life running like everything had been normal. He was normal, mostly. Other than the nightmares that accompanied him each night and at times, during the days, he was relatively the same. But his mom was not going to be in for another three weeks and that didn't help at all.
He patted the head of his German Shepard Molly who whined to be let outside. "Alright girl, let's go," he said, latching the leash into Molly collar. He smiled and scratched behind her ears. Benjie opened the door of his apartment, paused, and reached back inside the door to grab his watch and his iPod. He latched his watch around his wrist and strapped the iPod around his upper arm. He sighed, making his way down the stair and finally outside into the sun. He looked up at the bright sky and smiled softly. Perhaps he was missing out on too much. With that, he took off at a jog down the street and found himself at the park. His breathing had grown heavy on his third time around the huge park, but he pounded on as the music thumped in his ears.
Something caught his eye as he continued to run. A blonde pretty thing made Benjie slow his running as he went and he couldn't help himself. Perhaps it was because the only time that he had seen a woman in the last four years had been when they were as dirty and nasty as him.. No. That wasn't it at all. He'd been back in the states for a month already. This one was just plain pretty. He continued running smoothly until a stray stick caught his foot and caused him to stumble. Benjie grunted from the ground and sighed into the gravel that was against his face. Molly barked and looked at him confused and Benjie looked back to find the leash wrapped around his foot. Traitor.

bible told me to forget all those who trespass against tread their feet on sacred ground ;; bad things come with consequence what feels good hurts in the end ;; don't wanna think about that now S A R A H F E E R O She dozed, sunlight playing across her face as it managed to flit between the branches now bursting with green life above her head. She sighed, a small smile on her lips as the gentle fuzz of a nap went through her head. It wasn't to last, though, because within a few minutes she could hear the steps of a running person gradually growing nearer. It was accompanied by a nearly silent padding of dog's feet, something she almost missed because it was so quiet. Sneaky things, dogs, even when they weren't trying. Typically she would have ignored it completely and kept right on relaxing, but the pace slowed just a little as it came closer and she inwardly rolled her eyes. So it was a man, obviously, once again painfully predictable. Over the course of her life she'd grown more than accustomed to the antics of men and the predictability of them. It was really quite a miracle she hadn't developed into a sexist or a lesbian even, so when he slowed down it didn't even annoy her. Men being attracted to her was something she'd grown almost completely numb to.
A loud scuffle and thud suddenly met her ears, making her jump and eyes snap open to see said man sprawled on the gravel in front of her. A pale hand slapped quickly to her mouth, stifling an unexpected snort of laughter before she rocked onto her feet and walked quickly over to the fallen man and his tangled German Shepherd. The dog was lovely and looked quite confused, making her poorly hidden grin grow wider as she neared. She reached out cautiously in the dog's direction, aiming to let the dog sniff her before lowering back to the ground, carefully looping the leash away from his leg. Unable to hide it much more, she laughed in good humor, blue eyes looking softly to the sprawled out man. "Are you alright?" she asked, her voice somewhat quiet but confident. On her knees now, she placed her hands on her thighs and turned her head sideways, blonde hair falling in water-like tendrils over her shoulder as she leaned forward to smile encouragingly at him. Men really could be quite adorable when they weren't trying at it.
He groaned and she figured it would indeed be painful to faceplant into gravel, but in aims to cheer him up she spoke again. "And what about you sir? Are you alright?" she asked with a bigger grin, suggesting that she'd been originally asking the dog if she was alright rather than her owner. If she'd been bitter she could have ignored him altogether and figured he deserved it for eying her like he had been, but her mentality had never quite been warped to that extent. She still found it adorable that he'd fallen on his face while checking her out, and she still found it funny when they tried to recover their pride. Something this stranger had yet to do, but regardless of how he reacted she at least felt better for having attempted helping him up.F I R E && B R I M S T O N E dirt and a headstone bury 'em baby, all of our sins hear the T H U N D E R six feet U N D E R hit your K N E E S won't do it again comments: i am so sorry it took me three days to reply! i had car issues the end of this week, so i was dealing with that! x.x i will be much quicker in the future, swearz ^^
