LUKE 'FREAKIN' FERRARO "i'm not your boyfriend baby, i can't grant your every wish, i'm not your knight in shining armor, so i leave you with this kiss." What was the point of coming here again? Oh right. Uncle Keith was giving him a free day and what better way to use it? Geez. Then again, it wasn't like Luke wanted to enjoy the great outdoors considering that's where he has been spending most if not all of his days. He turned into the parking lot, bringing the busted up Dodge truck to find a parking place near the entrance of the mall before turning it off. He sighed and let the truck go into silence and he listened to the sounds of the other cars nearby on the highway and the sounds of the kids going in and out of the mall. He smiled softly at it all and then he heard the sounds of rain against the top of the truck and he grunted softly. Rain. Lovely. He opened his eyes to see that the downpour promised today had indeed come. He cleared his throat and turned his head and groaned with the effort, to look at the entrance of the mall. Only a few yards away. Alright, kid. Move it, he silently encouraged himself.
Straining against sore muscles, he pushed the door open and stepped outside, locking the door and then quickly making his way to the entrance. But not before being hit in the head quite a few times by small hail pieces. Great. Wintery mix. Bacardi's gonna throw a royal fit, the nob. He looked up at the overhang and sighed in somewhat content. At least he was out of the weather now and he stepped inside, embracing the warmth that enveloped him and he smiled softly for a moment, allowing himself to enjoy it before pushing on down the large expanse of the mall.
Luke shoved his hands into his pockets, warming them against his legs. Damn truck with no heat and not air conditioning. Freeze in the winter and suffocate in the summer. Thanks for the great gift, pops. What a thing to leave behind with your brother to give to your son. He allowed himself to simply stroll passed the stores, having no real interest in mind except for- Oh helllllooo. He raised an eyebrow, watching a girl pass by and he smirked softly to himself. Perhaps there was a real reason that he came to the mall. It was his first day off in a week and a half and he was starving for female attention. And good female attention at that. But enough of that. He wasn't likely to find anyone of those sorts in this town. Uncle Keith said all the girls here were of the respectable sort. Luke snorted at that and rolled his eyes.
He passed by a Hallmark store and stopped, peering inside for a moment. He half expected to see his mom browsing for a funny card to lay on his bed. But no such luck there. She was no where near Addison. She was far away in Chicago and he sighed, continuing his walk through the mall. His next stop is at a likely resturant in the food court. His stomach growled, allowing him to be notfied of his hunger and he stepped to the side and looked at the large Subway menu. Hmm. A simple thing should do it. He wasn't anything extravigant. And so with an ordered sub, Luke turned on his heels to find himself a seat near the edge of the tables. [/blockquote] DEAR GOD, YOU'VE TAKEN 576 OF MY FRIENDS AND LEFT ME HERE AT HELLO ADDISON'S FINEST. I NOW HAVE character AND I AM PRAYING THAT YOU DON'T TAKE THEM, TOO. I AM FEELING GOOD AND I CAN'T STAND IT. ONLY 3OH!3 IS MAKING THE PAIN SUBSIDE.

The mall was one of Karlee's favorite places. Strangly enough after her last encounter in the mall, she felt safe here. One of the few places she could hide in a crowd and her rivals could never find her. I mean, unless they shoot up the place and kill about thirty million people, they wouldn't find her. Karlee knew how to get away from bad things, she could tell when something bad was about to go down. And in her luck, she was in very good shape. She ran all the time. You had to know how to run when you where constantly on the run. Her 'brothers', or what she called the guys in her gang, hated her going out by herself anywhere. Karlee liked to, though, gave her a chance to meet new 'play toys'. She always liked to meet new play toys. Boy toys, she had a large collection of them.
For only being sixteen years old, karlee had a bigger reputation than most thirty years old. She never told any body that she met about her life. She told them about her horses, sure. And her aspiration to barrel race in the national finals. She might slip in the occasional "my brothers in jail and my dads crazy". But she never slipped in a "Oh, and im in a gang and you just being around me is putting you in horrible danger and you might end up with a bullet in your brain, but oh well, right? "
Karlee wandereed around the mall a bit, before realizing she was quite hungry. She saw quite a few nice things that she could take - she was an expert thief - but chose not to today. She didn't want any attention drawn to herself. She wandered around the food court, grabbing a smoothie from Orange Julias. She didn't have much money, so she thought that would suffice. She saw a guy sitting at a table, and smiled to herself. He was alone. New boy toy? No harm in trying. Karlee's long blonde hair was down around her shoulders. She wore a black tank top that clung to her, showing about every curve. She also wore light jeans with holes in the knees, and she wore her pink & black western boots.
Mind if I join you? Karlee said with a smile, her bright blue eyes shining as she slid into the seat across from him. My names Karlee by the way. She brushed a strand of hair from her eyes and set her cup on the table.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Suprisingly, this was her first visit to the mall since she had been in Addison. The mall was usually one of the very first places that the young woman checked out when she moved from place to place. Fashion was a huge part of her life. Being a model, Bridger Stone was required to keep up with the latest fashion trends wherever she went. On this rainy winter day, she was clad in light, ripped up jeans with a charcoal gray one shoulder sweatshirt that hung loosely on her frame. It was definitely a change from her usual skin tight tops, but the jeans made up for it. They clung to her body like a baby to its mother. Her huge rearend stuck out like a warning sign as she made her way across the mall towards the food court. The four inch heels of her black leather boots hit the floor beneath her with a purpose. She always walked like she had someone behind her. Bridger was never one to take a stroll when it came to shopping. She was there to get what she wanted as fast as she could. Women were vicious when it came to clothing, Bridger being right at the top. She came to the food court within minutes and eyed her choices of food. When it came to eating, Bridger really just did it as a formality. Being in and out of rehab for her anorexia, she realized that she needed to at least put something into her system in order to survive. The pressures of modeling definitely took their toll, but she knew it was worth it deep down. She was a beautiful, confident woman, but staying skinny was a necessity.
Bridger finally decided on a small salad from one of the little sandwhich shops. This would hold her over for now. She pulled some bills out of her jean pocket and traded them for the pile of lettuce on the tray. She turned around, blue eyes scanning the crowd, searching for somewhere to sit. She didn't really know anybody here yet, but that never stopped her before. She saw a cute guy sitting a few feet away and she flashed him a smile. Bridger was definitely a tease, but it kept things interesting. She turned away from the guy and noticed a couple sitting across the food court. They guy was pretty cute, and the girl seemed okay. She looked rather young, but she wasn't really one to talk when it came to dating older guys. When she was only fourteen she had gone out with a nineteen year old. Granted, he didn't necessarily know her age, but who cares? Bridger turned her attention back to the young couple and decided that it would be fun if she caused a little trouble for them. With a sly grin on her face, she stalked her way across the room towards them. As she got closer she realized just how cute the guy actually was. She could definitely have some fun with him. Bridger smirked at the girl as she approached and pulled out the chair next to the guy. She faced it backwards and straddled it, eyeing him. "Hey there." Bridger's features were playful as she ran a perfectly manicured finger across his arm. She giggled teasingly and began picking at her salad aimlessly with her fork. She didn't really plan on eating it, but she had to pretend for all those judgemental freaks out there.
Bridger completely ignored the girl as she focused her attention at the guy. "I'm Bridger." Her name was uncommon, but her mom was a freak about unique names when she was born. She actually kinda liked it. It made people remember her, and if there was one thing that Bridger loved, it was being on people's minds. She was reckless and loved every second of it. Her idea of a good night was hitting a club, getting drunk, and getting laid by some random guy she would never see again. She got addicted to partying when her modeling career took off and she was forced to attend bar after bar kissing up to all the major labels. In the end, it had paid off and she had made quite a fortune off of her good looks. What was a little partying here and there? Bridger didn't see the harm in going a little crazy every now and then. It's a new dawn It's a new Day It's a new Life For Me
Yawning, Lyric pulled her Suzuki Bandit 1250 motorcycle into a the small space between some of the other bikes. She paused for a second, letting herself skimmed the other bikes and feel smug when her bike was one of the nicest there. She heaved a sigh as she pulled her shiny onyx helmet off and shook out her brunette curls, one of the drawbacks to riding a motorcycle, the helmet hair. Running her bare fingers through the chocolate locks, she pursed her lips and swung free of the two-wheeled machine. The tall, pale, brunette sat back down and slipped on her green heels, storing both her helmet and the biker boots in her messenger-style bag.
Once she was all suited up for a shopping trip, Lyric stepped onto the sidewalk and strode into the mall. Her green, suede heels clacked on the floor as she weaved between people and headed into a random store. Her trip was fruitful and she managed to buy three CDs, a DVD and a whole new outfit. By the time she had gotten all of it she was rather hungry and it was about an hour past her usual lunchtime. Her stomach rumbled as she trotted from the shop, her bags hooked over one arm as she withdrew her purse again and got into a small que for food.
Lyric grabbed an apple, a can of soda and some sort of sandwich. Turning as she paid, she surveyed the seating area and the only seat left was on a table for four of which she would blatantly be the oldest. Sighing to herself, the pretty brunette stalked forward and plonked herself down next to the blonde. It seemed to be introduction time, unsure what to say she gazed at each of them and merely said, "Lyric." before taking a bite out of the apple.
It was silent for a moment before she sighed loudly and slipped the green heels from her feet. "Right. So are we just gonna sit here or shall we talk?" She asked, shaking a chocolate lock from her forest green eyes as she stared across the table at the blond guy. He was what, 18. The girl next to her had to be around 16, and the woman across from her looked about 20. Oh, she felt old. "Anyway. As I said, I'm Lyric. Last name Kent. I have one horse, I've just moved here and... that's about it." She had been on the verge of telling them she had been in prison the past five years, but had then decided it would be a bad idea to start off with that. She barely knew these people.

"and isn't this exactly where like me? i'm exactly where you like me, you know- praying for love in a lapdance." Being well into his sandwhich, Luke had easily forgotten about anyone who may end up strolling by. The mind reasons, the heart yerns, ah, but the belly always wins. Very much so in his case. Food was his only love and that was just fine with him. He continued to woof down the foot long sub and was almost done with the second half whenever he heard a voice and his ears seemed to perk. A female voice at that. Speaking to him. He raised his head from his sandwhich to look upon a girl with more curves than the Mississippi River. He swallowed hard and quickly whipped away the mayo that was clinging to his chin, ran his tongue over his teeth to clean them and smiled the best he could.
She didn't wait for him to respond and that was just fine by him. He nodded. "Hello, Karlee," he said, his voice level. He wasn't ashamed to let his eyes wander and wander they did over the curves of her chest and along the thin areas of her sides and then back over her neck and along her jawline and finally to her lips and back to her bright eyes. "The name's Luke, but you may call me your new favorite person," he said with a slight chuckle. Yes, it was a terrible line, but a line none the less. There was something nagging in his mind that told him that this girl wasn't interested in anything serious.
Luke's attention was focused on Karlee.. for a moment. It wasn't an easy thing for him to keep his eyes from wandering to the scene going on behind her. It was a talent, no, an art, that he had perfected. Looking at the girl, but taking in everything going on behind her. It was simple to say that Luke had never had a girl as "the only thing he saw" and kept just her in his mind. That stayed true to now whenever he watched many others walk by and he couldn't help but like this town of Addison more and more and more with each passing, nice figure. Yes, Luke is what many people call a pig, but that was fine by him. Did anyone else have fun like he did? Probably not. And therefore, he lived his life to the best of his ability. He wasn't hurting anyone.. yet.
When a dark haired woman came into view behind Karlee, he smiled once more at the girl. Karlee was cute, hot in her own way. She was edgy and he found that attractive. But tight pants and a slim waste was also very attractive.. except for possibly breaking the woman. He would cross that bridge whenever he came to it. The approching woman had her eyes on him and he couldn't help but look away from the blonde before him to take in the pretty brunette that was sitting next to him. He raised his eye, watching her turn the chair about and he followed her hand to watch it stroke his arm. Yes, there is a God and right now, he absolutly loves Luke Michael Ferraro.
"Bridger," he said, rolling the name around on his tongue. He liked how it felt. It fit the girl well, just like her pants. He cut his eyes to Karlee and winked, showing her that he wouldn't forget that she was there. "Name's Luke.. Luke Ferraro." Yes, it was turning into an extremely good day and he couldn't help but let his mind wander as he thought about the two women sitting with him and day dreaming came into effect with just the three of them alone and not- Stop it. Charm them, imagin later, take action. He smiled at Bridger again and said, "A pleasure. This is Karlee," he said, nodding his head in the direction of the blonde across the table.
The next woman to sit at the table was another brunette. Luke's confusion became clear as he raised his eyebrow the peer at the woman across from him. What was she doing sitting at a table with them? Better yet, how did he get so damn lucky!? He sighed in satisfaction of everything, though he hoped it would be the last time that he spoke his name. "Lyric," he said, his voice rough. She was an attractive girl to say the very least, but what brought her here, he wasn't sure. "Name's Luke Ferraro. One horse named Bacardi. Forced here against my will," he said plainly. His guard was up with the older woman. Was this his new probation officer? If so, was it bad that he wanted to sleep with her? [/blockquote] DEAR GOD, YOU'VE TAKEN 829 OF MY FRIENDS AND LEFT ME HERE AT ADDISON'S FINEST. I NOW HAVE KARLEE, BRIDGER, AND LYRIC AND I AM PRAYING THAT YOU DON'T TAKE THEM, TOO. I AM FEELING GREAT AND I CAN'T STAND IT. ONLY PANIC AT THE DISCO IS MAKING THE PAIN SUBSIDE.

xx. DON'T YOU DRAW THE QUEEN OF DIAMONDS, BOY. He was cute, it was obvious, and Karlee was obviously interested. She was interested in any guy with muscles and a cute face, though. She didn't hold very high standereds. How could you, when your main selection of guys growing up where just using you? Karlee didn't really know how to have a real relationship. She grew up on the street doing what ever she could for money and protection. So, having a long lasting relationship wasn't really on her mind. Playing the feild was always fun for her though.
She had obviously interupted him, but she didn't really care. Possibility of a plaything was always on her mind. He introduced himself as Luke. " My new favorite person? Maybe we can make that happen." Her smile teased as she pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. He was obviously letting his eyes travel, and that didn't really bother her, she was used to it. Plus, it just meant possibly one step closer to not being alone that night. That was always what she wanted. She wanted to be protected more than anything. Even an older brother figure would be nice, but every time she had a good male friend, she always ruined it. She came on to guys too fast and what guy is going to turn down a good time with any girl when he has the chance? All guys are a bunch of horn dogs, atleast to karlee they where. She played that to her advantage. She was worse than most guys, but that comes with her up bringing.
" So, Luke, She said with a teasing tone, before being interupted by anouther girl. She was a brunette, very thin, she was pretty. This made Karlee mad almost immediatly. This girl was obviously teasing Luke, again. That was what she was trying to do. SHe introduced herself as Bridger. What the hell kind of name is that? Karlee pondered to herself. She was a very judgemental person, and wasn't afraid to show it. After Luke introduced himself to the girl, and then introduced Karlee. Karlee glanced towards the girl, smiling, sarcastically, but a smile none the less. Luke ackowledged her, making Karlee smile again, less sarcastic this time.
Before she had time to do much, anouther girl appeared. Wow, was this guy a chick magnet or what? This girl sat down, merely saying her name. She was obviously much older than any of them. Karlee didn't see her as much of a threat, and merely nodded in her direction. She didn't seem very social.
Talk of horses made Karlee perk up. Do you ride at Crossfire? She was speaking towards Luke, after his mention of his horse Bacardi. I have two horses there. She leaned her head against her hand, and looked Luke over. He was cute, no doubt, hot even in her terms. And he was not much older than her, it didn't seem so. She was only sixteen but she looked older.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Bridger could tell immediately when she sat down at the table with the guy that the other girl hated her guts. The sarcastic smile the blonde flashed her way was filled with spite and jealousy. The brunette flashed the other girl a smile when the guy turned his attention to her, and she beamed with pride. It was all about the game for Bridger. As long as she beat the other girl she was okay. She didn't even really care about the actual guy. She just liked to come out on top and prove that she was superior to everybody else. This attitude had gotten her far in life. Her entire career depended on this mentality. She had to be the best and prove it to people to be succesful. It was a dog eat dog world out there, and she could tell that the blonde sitting next to her knew it, too. Bridger grinned as the guy sitting next to her spoke her name. It felt good hearing him saying her name like that. She could tell that he thought it was interesting and different. That's how she liked to see herself as well. Interesting and different.
Bridger knew the other girl was probably mad at her for interrupting her little game she was about to play. She sent her a sly smile as if to say, can't you take a little competition? She wasn't threatened by the little blonde bimbo. She was probably only sixteen. She had no chance against against the older, prettier, and more experienced woman. Bridger learned from the guy that his name was Luke and her name was Karlee. She nodded towards him and spoke in a raspy voice, "Hot name, Luke." A giggle escaped her lips as she turned to eye the other girl. "Oh, hello there little girl. Did you lose your mommy?" She laughed at her own joke and took a tentative bite out of her salad. It tasted bitter in her mouth, but she forced it down with a drink of water. She rolled her eyes at the other girl and placed her hand on the table, dangerously close to Luke's.
Bridger was just about to speak when another body placed itself at their table, which now seated a total of four. She let out an exasperated sigh and eyed the newcomer curiously. The woman was older, much older than any of them sitting at the table now. She wasn't ugly, Bridger would give her that. She was prettier than the little baby. She wondered why the woman would choose to sit with a bunch of young kids in the food court filled with all types of people. Surely she could find a table with someone a little closer to her own age. Bridger listened as she introduced herself rather curtly. So she wasn't the most friendly person ever. At least she was breaking the ice. Bridger decided to pipe in and tell a little about herself. "I'm Bridger, and I have a horse named Trigger. I was dragged here by my ass of a brother." Her brother wasn't really that bad, but she would have preferred to stay in England with her parents. They spoiled her rotten, and Bridger had gotten used to that kind of lifestyle.
Bridger directed her gaze at the older woman and stated blankly, "Hello there, grandma. All your friends dead now?" That was definitely a low blow on her part, but she could care less. The brunette offered a stunning smile and snorted a laugh when Karlee started to talk to Luke. "Karlee, where else would he keep his horse around here? Everyone boards at Crossfire." She looked at the older woman and shrugged. "Please excuse her. She's just a little girl." Bridger gave Karlee an equally sarcastic smile and turned her attention back to Luke. She was going to get this boy back to her lavish apartment.

It's a New Dawn It's a New Day It's a New Life For Me
Lyric smirked slyly at the blonde boy in front of her, it was obvious he was attracted to all three of them and she couldn't blame him. They, including herself, were all very attractive. "Nice to meet you all, I suppose." She muttered, listening to them chatter. She already had a relatively good sense of what they were like considering their first comments were quite open. Luke, a blonde male of aproximatly 18 years, stunned beyond belief that he was sitting on a table with three beautiful women. Bridger, brunette female of about 20, sarcastic, cynical, flirty. Karlee, blonde female of around 16, jail bait, jeleaous, not really up for competition with other women.
She easily catalogged each of them into the seperate catergories and she noticed that Karlee and Bridger were both quite similar, not that she'd tell them... Lyric was about to take of a sip of her soda when Bridger turned to her and said "Hello there, grandma. All your friends dead now?" The older brunette burst into volleys of laughter that turned a few heads as Lyric valiantly tried to sober up. She dissolved into giggles and raised her free hand to wipe away a tear that had formed. Many people would've taken Bridger's comment as an insult and abruptly left the table, whereas the strange brunette merely laughed at the comment as she'd had far worse in prison. Clearing her throat, Lyric fixed Bridger with an even gaze and grinned, "That was a good one, I'll grant you that." She chuckled, taking a sip of her soda before shaking her head and swallowing.
"But you may want to watch that mouth of yours, If I had been offended by the you'd be bleeding right now." She told her, the humour disapearing from her green eyes and replaced with a sinister seriousness. The younger girl would probably brush it off as an empty threat, but Lyric was more than capable of harming all three people at this table. Shaking her chocolate locks out of her face, she yawned and leaned back in the plastic seat, "I gathered." She replied dryly to Bridger's second comment.
She was silent as she listened to the conversation and she thought about when her next appointment with a therapist would be. She had rung up the hospital first thing this morning and had gotten an appointment with a Dr.Harper for next week. And then she would have to ring up her parole officer. Boy, that conversation would be fun. Shaking her head again, Lyric rested her chin on the hand as she leant on the table with her elbow. "So... You guys up here for any particular reason?" She asked as the conversation seemed to be falling short of things to say, again.
Once it was going again she stayed quiet and thought about what she should do when she got home. First it would be fun trying to get her shopping home via motorcycle but it wouldn't be too hard considering the size of her messenger style bag. She let herself drift away from the conversation and continue to think about random things. Lyric pulled herself back to reality and rejoined the conversation, giving her input when needed. She caught Luke's gaze and winked at him, considering the silent, glaring war between Bridger and Karlee at the moment, he was probably feeling quite happy with it all. "Right. Will you two stop fighting. Snide comments and scathing looks will get you nowhere. Luke will go home with whom he wants. Okay?" She snapped , glaring slightly at the two girls currently engaged in a 'who will get the boy first' war.
Lyric rolled her gleaming, green eyes at their childish antics and leaned back in her seat, folding her arms loosely. And looking between the other three occupants at the table. She crossed her long legs under the table and drew them under the chair and automatically leaned forward again. She stared at the food in front of her, debating whether or not to eat them. Finally she wrinkled her nose and drew herself upright. "So, Luke. How often do you ride at Crossfire? 'cause I need someone to show me around. Unless either of you two would be inclined to do so?" She asked, making the question open to all three of the other people. Though greatly doubted that either Bridger or Karlee would take up the task.
And I'm Feeling Good!

"i treat her bad, she loves me good, and i just hate to have to tell you, 'cause you're a nice guy but that just won't do, she want a bad boy." Luke couldn't surpress the smile that came over him as he continued to look over Karlee. All in all, she wasn't bad looking at all. In fact, she was quite attractive. Other than his mishap with the mayo in his sandwhich, he was playing it cool. He shuffled his hand through his shorn hair again and inhailed, feeling the cotton cloth of his white tee shirt pull tight across his chest. Yes, it was all for her. After holding his breath for a long moment, he exhailed and returned to normal breathing. Okay. So it wasn't just for Karlee. It was for every other girl sitting at the table, but that was okay. Please one person at a time, yes?
"I'm sure we can make that happen," he said in response to Karlee and he smirked. There was a knowing in his eyes that was showing through. Yes, he was quite aware that he was going to get something tonight. He had three chances too. And one was already practically in his lap. How could this get any better? He noticed Karlee's reaction to the other girls that sat down. Not like he would expect her to be completely thrilled about it, but he knew he was. Well, if she was going to be five about it, then she would eventually leave. However, she didn't look like she was going anywhere right now and for that, he was thankful. The more the merrier, he always said. But there was something nagging at him in the back of his mind. Something that said that having three girls around at one time could get messy. However, Luke's terrible mind only flipped that thought and turned it into a wonderful fantasy.
The heat between the two girls had become evident. Luke's fears were coming to life as Karlee and Bridger shot looks at each other. Had they known each other before? And what caused all- Ya know what? Who gives a shit? he thought with a slight mental grin. They both want you and so you'll be damn happy about it. That was that and his mind was settled.
Luke nodded his head whenever Karlee brought up more about horses. "Yeah. I work there for my uncle," he responded. There was no need to launch into how he hated everything about Crossfire Farms and Bacardi was given to him four years ago and they connected more than anyone else in the world, but whenever he moved to Chicago after his dad split, he never saw Bacardi and apparently horses have feelings because the large stallion now hates him. Oh well. Such is life.
If there was one thing that Luke was, it was attentative. Although the fire between the two girls didn't go unnoticed, he figured that it wouldn't be anything worth much of his attention. Play them both and call it a day. That's how things would go. He tensed as Bridger said his name, but he couldn't help but enough the throaty sound she made. He parted his lips to say something, but stopped as Bridger went on to say something to Karlee. He raised his eyebrow and cut his eyes to the pretty blonde, wondering how she would take it. Sure, he'd seen his fair share of girls fight, but he had his suspisions that this one would get gruesome and fast. "She's with me, Bridger," he said cooly. "Hope you don't mind.." He reached forward, ignoring the brunette's hand next to his and grabbed his water bottle and slugging back a large gulp. Yes, there was a large possibility that he had blown his chances with the attractive woman, but that was fine. He didn't turn down a chance to knock someone off their high horse and this chick needed it bad.
It was interesting enough to watch as Lyric simply laughed at Bridger's attempt of an insult. He couldn't supress his own laugh whenever Lyric continued on to warn the girl. It was humorus to him. Apparently, older women knew how to handle things like Bridger and Lyric was showing that quite well.
He narrowed his eyes at Bridger and shook his head and gave off a cold laugh. "God you're a bitch," he said. "My uncle's actually got a farm real close by.. He has a stable, smartass. And if I wasn't working here, Bacardi would be there. It's ten minutes from here." He paused for a moment before letting out a bark of a laugh and continuing, "And I doubt her friends are dead, but you will be soon you anorexic whore." Luke rolled his eyes and turned, making it obvious that he wanted to discontinue the conversation with Bridger. Yes, sex was great, but he wasn't a complete ass hole. Well, at least not to people who didn't deserve it.
He raised and brought his gaze level with Lyric. Was that what this had turned into? He smirked and said, "I guess so.." A battle between who he'd go home with? Well, let's be honest. He was high class. There would be much past digging to do before he went home with anyone.
"I'm there every day.. working my ass off for my keep," he said with a harsh laugh. "I'd love to show you around." His voice was even and he kept contact with her eyes and only those. He wasn't an idiot. He knew when a girl was out of his legue, and Lyric was just that. She was a friend to have, but nothing more. That was fine with him. He didn't need sex all the time, but a lot didn't hurt. [/blockquote] DEAR GOD, YOU'VE TAKEN A LOT OF MY FRIENDS AND LEFT ME HERE AT ADDISON'S FINEST. I NOW HAVE KARLEE, LYRIC, AND BRIDGER AND I AM PRAYING THAT YOU DON'T TAKE THEM, TOO. I AM FEELING OKAY AND I CAN'T STAND IT. ONLY COBRA STARSHIP IS MAKING THE PAIN SUBSIDE.

xx. DON'T YOU DRAW THE QUEEN OF DIAMONDS, BOY. Karlee couldn't help but let her eyes hover over Luke's body. He was obviously well built, and there was nothing else she liked more. Well, there was but it was hard to fully appreciate a mans beauty when they where fully clothed, or that was how Karlee looked at things. Sounds like a good time. She said in reply to his comment. But there was anouther thing that she noticed, her and Bridger where not going to be friends. She already wanted to shoot the little witch in the foot and watch her hop and skip around from the pain. Maybe she would hop and skip away from them. Karlee smirked slightly, staring at the table. Oh yes, the thoughts in the girls head where wicked ones, but she couldn't help it. Imagining things, things that could happen, where wonderful. Karlee had the ability to get rid of practically anybody she wanted. She had all kinds of guys in her lap that would practically do anything for her.
She rolled her eyes sarcastically at Bridgers comment to Luke. And then when the comment turned to her, Karlee just smiled, saying nothing to her comment. She just let the fantasy of shooting her in the foot play in her mind. It seemed like a good thing to her, she glanced towards the ceiling, twisting her lip for a moment in thought, then letting her gaze fall back on Luke. When the girl named Lyric made her comment about Bridger bleeding if she had been offended, Karlee tried to surpress a laugh, biting her lip, trying not to make it too obvious. It seemed like two of them had the same dream. Karlee made enimies fast, and Bridger was no exception. They seemed to immediately not get along.
When the conversation had turned back to horses, Karlee felt a relief. She had half a mind to jump off the bench and start smacking Bridger across the face. Sure, Karlee was only five foot two, but she was the very definition of small but mighty, and she wasn't afraid, because she knew she could kick the older girls ass. Lyric seemed like not too bad of a person, Karlee thought maybe they could get along. I'm just trying to get a clean slate. Karlee caught Lyric's eyes momentarally, then Luke's. Everybody needed a clean slate, right? She couldn't be an exception. What do you do for your Uncle, Luke? I've lived here all my life, maybe I know him. She offered a sweet and sincere smile, unlike the sarcastic ones she offered to Bridger. The witch deserved them.
After Karlee had asked about where they boarded, and Bridger had continued with her rude comments. Do you think im fucking stupid? Karlee said, with a sarcastic laugh, directed towards Bridger. Just because Im younger than you doesn't mean I couldn't woop your ass if I wanted to, so if I where I would watch your mouth chick, before I watch it for you. Karlee smiled sweetly at her after the girl finished talking. Her temper wasn't flared, she was actualy calm. She was handling the sitchuation without drawing too much attention to herself. Her heart sped up slightly with Luke's comment about her being with him. Maybe, Luke.. She said with a flirty tone, catching his eye. She placed her elbows on the table and leaned across the table slightly. We should show them. She smiled, hoping he would know what she was implying. She wasn't shy.
Karlee smiled at Luke's comments to Bridger. He had said exactly what she wanted to say before she got to say them. Holding back laughter was almost impossible with Luke's anorexic whore comment. The conversation with Bridger was obviously cut off. Maybe we should go riding together sometime. She said, running her finger on the table. She meant the horse type of riding, but if he got anouther idea that was okay with her too. She didn't want to come off too strong. He seemed like a nice guy, and she would like to keep him around, even if they did get somewhere tonight.
Lyric had asked Luke if he could show her around, but the thought seemed to be implied to all. I could possibly show you some things too, Lyric. I've been here for a while. She didn't think Lyric liked her that much, but Karlee used her most sincere tone she could come up with. What had a trip to the mall turned in to?
OOC:: Sorry if this is hard, Iwas getting confused with all the different things going on. XD. Karlee is really coming on to Luke xD what a whoreee. And sorry its kinda crap im tired.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Bridger studied the older girl that sat across from her. She seemed like the kind of person that didn't put up with any crap. These supsisions were confirmed when she threatened Bridger after her joking quote about her being a grandma and all her friends dying. She smiled and let out a little giggle at this, even though she was pretty sure that the older woman meant every word. Something about that fact sent a chill down her spine. The chick looked intense. Despite this obvious intimidationg factor, Bridger sort of liked her. She told it like she saw it, much like her, but in a less bitchy way. Bridger liked honest people, even when they could sometimes use their brutality on her. The young brunette was the kind of person who could take criticism from anybody. She had to be able to. She didn't live with her judgemental parents for nineteen years and gain nothing. They were constantly on her case, excersizing 'constructional criticism'. Bridger knew it was a load of crap, but at least it made her a stronger person. She could care less whether or not people like her. When Lyric commented on how Luke would go home with whoever he wanted, Bridger laughed. At this point, she didn't really care if he went with the little baby. She was just being a bitch for the fun of it now. She could tell that Luke didn't really like her bad attitude. Bridger didn't get along with guys that thought they were hot. Her own self appraisal just clashed with the guy's, and then all they did was fight. It was all about leaving a mark for Bridger.
Bridger was zoned out from the conversation until Luke's voice called her out. "God you're a bitch. My uncle's actually got a farm real close by.. He has a stable, smartass. And if I wasn't working here, Bacardi would be there. It's ten minutes from here. And I doubt her friends are dead, but you will be soon you anorexic whore." Bridger knew she was a bitch. She didn't get along with anybody very well unless it was in bed, and even then she could be a pain. Smartass didn't really bug her either, but his comment about her being anorexic almost sent Bridger over the edge. He had absolutely no idea who she was. Sure, he was just trying to protect that bitch of a girl, Karlee, but the struggle that Bridger had gone through to get to where she was was something that she did not take lightly. Neither of the other girls at the table knew what it was like to see your body as disgusting. Clearly, becasue neither of them was small like she was. No, they weren't fat...well Karlee was a little too curvy for her liking... but the pressures of her career pushed her to where she had been. Going to rehab twice had saved her from starvation, but she wasn't about to tell them that. Bridger decided in that instant that she hated them. Who were they to judge her physical condition when they had absolutely no idea of the loss it had caused her. Bridger leveled her eyes at Luke and spoke with a snarl. "Call me a bitch, smartass, or anything you want, but do not joke about my body. You have no clue what goes on in my life, so don't even pretend. Yeah, you stereotype me as the typical 'whore who has no soul', but you are mistaken. Did you ever think that maybe I'm this way for a reason. Why should I be nice to the world when it isn't nice to me?" Her British accent was more evident than usual as she vented at him. She debated on whether or not she should just leave, but she was curious to see how the douchebag would respond to her. He probably wouldn't care, he seemed like a guy who just was in it to get laid. She'd seen guys like him before. Heck, she got with guys like him all the time. Never once, though, had one mentioned her struggle with anorexia. All she knew was, she was not going to give him anything.
"Just because Im younger than you doesn't mean I couldn't woop your ass if I wanted to, so if I where I would watch your mouth chick, before I watch it for you." As if Luke's comment hadn't already pissed her off, Karlee's didn't help much either. Bridger rolled her eyes at the blonde and bit back with much more force. " Oh, excuse me for not being scared of a tiny bitch who hides her self behind a slutty facade, practically throwing herself at guys to get attention that she so obviously lacks. Actually, you're right. I am so intimidated by you, a girl who probably has no job, no house, and no stable relationships. I would trade my succesful career and looks to be you anyday." Bridger knew her words were a little uncalled for, but she felt that Karlee deserved to hear them. They had been nothing but rude to her since she had sat down. Sure, she had cracked a few jokes, but people just took everything the wrong way. Luckily, Lyric seemed to be staying out of things. She felt that the older girl was the only one of these imbeciles that she could even remotely get along with. "God, you people can't take a joke." She muttered the words, expecting them not to hear her, but she assumed they could anyways. At this point she didn't even care. Bridger shot daggers from her eyes at the two and picked up her fork to take a huge bite of salad. She reached across the table and grabbed Luke's sandwhich and took a chunk off of that, too. She forced it down her throat, never taking her intense gaze off theirs. After she had swallowed, she grabbed her handbag off the floor and stood without speaking. She didn't even care that they were talking about Crossfire and that they might have something remotely in common. Bridger gave one last nod to Lyric and stalked away slowly. Fuming, she made her way into line to buy a bottle of water. She couldn't even make herself look back to the table where they sat. She hated them. It was an uncommon thing when Bridger couldn't even stand to be in the same proximity as someone, but in this case it was bad.

It's a New Dawn It's a New Day It's a New Life For Me
Lyric raised her eyebrows and whistled lowly as she watched the scene fold out in front of her. She waited for a moment before adding her own input, "That was out of order Luke, you can see what she's like, don't make it worse." She told him, her voice hushed but serious as she stared at him, her green eyes slightly colder. She then turned to Karlee and stared at her curiously, "Same goes to you. I've met girls like that when I did my time, don't get on her bad side, even if you have people protecting you, karma's a bitch." She said, not realizing her slip until it was too late, she paled slightly and slipped two pieces of paper toward each of them. "My phone number." The brunette muttered, pushing back her chair, grabbing her things and her uneaten sandwich before hurrying off to where Bridger was queing.
Lyric mentally scolded herself for slipping up, shaking her head, she approached Bridger with a warm smile. "Here, considering all you had was part of a salad and a bite of a sandwich. Plus, being stuck alone with those two would've made me hurl after another couple of minutes. And I also need to give you this." She handed the younger brunette the sandwich and a slip of paper identical to the ones she had given Luke and Karlee. "My number, if you ever want to go out to a club and want some company. I'd gladly join you." She carried on, moving with the que as she sorted her bags out, balancing them one on each arm. They were both relatively small and light so it wasn't much of a problem for her to carry them. Lyric checked her watch before looking back up at Bridger. "I'll probably head back in a bit, and go check on my horse. He can be a handful as I haven't had a chance to ride him yet." The older brunette mumbled, frowning slightly as she thought of the large gelding.
And I'm feeling Good!

Luke eyed Karlee with suspicion. She was a cute thing, that was for sure. However, there was something about the willingness of it all that set him on edge and made him realize that he needed to be careful with whatever it was that could possibly take place. "Another time, maybe," he said softly to her, wanting only her to hear. Yes, he was an ass to Bridger not ten seconds before, but he didn't want to be completely terrible and turn down Karlee and thus, make more things to be fought over. He sighed softly and smiled at her, before rounding his attention back to the other two at the table.
Things were getting heated. That much was clear. Something in his mind made him wonder what this group of kids looked like to anyone else that was watching. Did they see happy friends? Laughing and joking? Or could they see through the fake smiles and reach into the harsh center of it all and grip the hate that filled the table. Luke swallowed hard, feeling the tension beginning to get to him. He grunted and sunk quickly into silence, not wanting to deal with anything else that was going on between the girls. Slowly, he was beginning to shut everyone else out and listen to the humming sound of the people around him.
Luke knew at once that he had hit a nerve with Bridger and that was why he continued to sink lower and lower into shutting out everyone. His temper was flaring and he didn't want to yell. No more yelling. No more throwing things. No more turning over tables. No more hurting people. As Bridger launched into the world not being kind, his temper snapped and his breathing became heavy. His jaw muscles flexed and he narrowed his eyes. Don't lose it.. he warned and he inhailed deeply, counting backwards from ten, but it only made things worse. Luke shuddered and slammed his hands on the table, the echo blending with the intense noise of the food court. He stood half way up and leaned over the table, his eyes coming level with Bridger's. "Oh woe is you," he hissed. "Your life must suck. You refuse to eat because you hate your body. That's your problem. You have a chance to fix it. So fix it. You're a pretty girl, so you get whatever comes your way. You twist him and then bounce because you know nothing else..." Luke stopped here to take a deep breath and then he continued, "Your life could be a lot worse. Trust me. You have no idea what the world can really do to someone. You're pampered compared to those of us to grew up making it on our own. Consider yourself lucky, Bridger. Consider yourself very lucky. God forbid you ever see the evil that this world really has in it. God forbid you even get a glimpse at what my mother- what I've delt with in my life." He stood straight, his muscles ridgid.
He remained standing for a long time, watching the girl. As Bridger took her actions and left the table, he hung his head and shook it. His neck was red with anger, white scars standing out against the background. He sighed and looked up at Lyric and Karlee before sitting back down and chewing on his lip. "That wasn't right... was it?" He looked away, already knowing that answer, but Lyric only said it. He was wrong. That was something that he didn't like. Being wrong was among his most hated things. He grunted and let himself slip away again to think about things and only one postive thing came out of this: He didn't yell at her.
Luke stared at the table in mock wonder. He didn't yell at her. That was something of a large achievement for him. His head snapped up and he looked after Bridger with confusion plain in his eyes. Why not? What made her so damn special?
Sighing hard, he grumbled and looked over at Karlee. "You know what we gotta do, right?" he said, rising in his seat. Luke grabbed his sandwhich and tossed it into the trash can and then shoved his hands into his pockets, his shoulders going forward in a hunch. He knawed his lip for a moment and walked to Bridger and Lyric. He glanced once at Lyric before sighing again and raising his head and bringing his eyes level with Bridger's. He laughed softly, taken back by the sight of her. Her eyes matched his mom's. Clearing his throat, he shook his head and squeezed his eyes shut.
"Bridger.. I'm sorry. I stepped out of bounds there. You're right. I know nothing about you. Jealousy can suck sometimes.." he said, trailing off. He looked away for a moment, but forced himself to look back at her. "I'm sorry. If I can make it up to you, just uhh.. Shoot me a text sometime?" The sincerity in his voice was scratched by the lesson he was learning in being humble. Luke scrambled for a pen and a napkin and wrote his number sloppy on the napkin before handing it to her. "Well.. see ya." With that, he backed away with a half smile and headed back towards the table.
