![](http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/5172/image26s.png) ![](http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/9970/td1.png) Fall. She fucking loved it. Every moment of the season and it’s splendid colors. Well all of it except school, but that wasn’t new she hated school no matter what the season. Fall, winter, spring summer – school in any season was crappy. Fall fashion was probably her favourite thing ever. The clothes were something that just made fall that extra wonderful, the variety she could add to her wardrobe was just so wonderful. She had started the morning with her usual shower, then blow dried and straightened her hair. Half pulled back with some volume on top she had left her make-up till after she got dressed. First to her pants, there was at least 20 pairs of jeans in the closet. She picked a pair of dark boot cut jeans, 7 For All Mankind they were one of her current favourites. Slipping into them she moved to shirts next. The tank had been calling her name for a while, she slipped it on. Her slim frame wore it well, the horses head was quite neat. Though it was cool enough for her to layer, so she slipped her loose fitted long sleeve from H&M over the tank to make it complete. Her newly purchased bangle set was the next thing she added, plus a few of her favourite rings and then a pair of bow earrings from Tiffany’s. Adding a touch of blush to her creamy smooth complexion, put on some mascara and eyeliner she liked to keep her make-up fairly simple. Emma slipped into a pair of her grey ankle boots to make the outfit complete, she looked at her clock and grabbed her phone. The driver would be waiting. She had decided to hit the town that morning before maybe heading to the barn. Deciding breakfast was a must when she got to the car driver waiting and door open she spoke to him with her manners in mind,
Good morning Doug, would you mind dropping in at the Sugar Shack before we head into town for shopping.
His silent but warm nod was all she needed, slipping into the cars backseat she was content to hear the cd she had given Doug yesterday was playing in the background. She pulled out her cell, took note of the text messages and started firing them back. By the time she made it too the sugar shack she didn’t even take note of the fact that they had indeed arrived. She had a few conversations going that required most of her attention, the door opened and she popped out – cash in pocket and ready to eat. Smiling to Doug she nodded, he knew the drill. She would text or call giving him 10 minutes head notice, what he did during this time she had no idea and wasn’t too worried about. Into the shack she went, the place was relatively busy it was a Saturday but she knew she would get her own table, she always did. Taking a seat she ordered her iced hazelnut late and a chocolate croissant, the breakfast of champions really. Well it was what she liked and that made it the best, she was pretty certain everything she did was the way things should be done. She sipped at her cool coffee and took a bite of her breakfast before returning her attention to her cell. She texted like mad, more than 5 conversations going she was busy her mind didn’t even note the atmosphere around her. The whole place was bustling, she had one of the only empty tables though never really noticed that either. She wasn’t used to sitting alone, it was sort of frustrating sometimes, though this morning she hadn’t noticed. All she managed to do was flag down a waiter for a new drink, then her eyes and mind were back to the i-phone that was continuously vibrating.

![](http://i731.photobucket.com/albums/ww312/Hardcore_Random/Decorated%20images/Sinttulo1.jpg) ![](http://i41.tinypic.com/vrdnr7.jpg) Alexandra woke up to a text from her best friend from Houston, Rose. “Wake up you bum (;” it read. Alex smiled. She missed her friends dearly. She decided not to go to the barn today and let her horses relax. She would go visit them tomorrow. Alexandra sat up in bed. ‘What should I do today?’ she thought to herself. She was home alone, as usual. Her parents were barely ever home to their crazy work schedules and Alex liked it that way. She hated when her parents got involved in her business.
Alexandra decided that she should go out and walk around the town for a bit. She hadn’t gotten a chance to do that yet due to her finally arriving home from the hospital a week ago. She had missed the first week of school and dreaded returning on Monday. She was starting junior year at a new school and knew absolutely no one.
Alex got out of bed and got dressed. She didn’t look like the kind of person that would have an interest in fashion, but the girl did know how to dress. She had her own retro style. Alex finished dressing, grabbed her red Ray Bans and her tote bag and headed out.
With her headphones in her ears, her iPod in her back pocket, she was listening to some of her favorite music. She had her phone in her hand, texting her friend in Houston. She walked down a few blocks before she found a coffee shop. Alex walked in and scanned the crowd. Only one person looked familiar, the blonde girl sitting by herself. She wasn’t sure where she had seen her before. It couldn’t be school, because she technically hadn’t started yet. She couldn’t be from back home because that was way too far away. The barn maybe?
Alex waited on the line and received her tea and then walked over to the girl that she recognized. “Hey, you look familiar,” she said as she took one side of her headphones off and lifted up her sunglasses, resting them on her head, “Do you ride at Crossfire?” Alex was the type of girl that got straight to the point in a conversation. She took a sip of her tea and ignored her phone vibrating in her hand.

![](http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/5172/image26s.png) ![](http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/9970/td1.png) Emma was seated on her own, she was enjoying the solitude and text conversations. She sipped her coffee and nibbled at her croissant, her breakfast combination was a winner in her books and once again she found herself enjoying the simple silence, well not really but the lack of dramatic presence this town had brought so far. That might scream differently come starting school next week, but for now Emma was content living those dramas through text message. She was almost half done her croissant as she looked up and around the still bustling restaurant, it hadn’t been too long since she sat down. Normally she would have come and gone by now and would be on her way to the farm; instead the blonde teen decided to enjoy her lack of company and looked back down the her still vibrating cell. Mind wandered as she typed away, the texts were easy lots of ”I miss you” and old jokes being exchanged, a few conversations concerning advice and a few more planning future visits and parties. It was a hard life she lived, being out here on her own. Her parents had hoped the change in scenery and environment would encourage her to settle in, they had set her up in her own place with a maid to clean and cook and do groceries, a driver till she got her full licence in a few months and a tutor who would drop by after school every day. As for horses she had her western pleasure/reiner sitting in the barn and was currently shopping for a new horse. She had decided if she wanted to stick with the circuit and get a quarter horse to work over fences or if she would buy a big fancy warmblood of some sorts. No matter the horse she needed a hunter, Sassi was good enough to place over low level fences but she would never be world quality over fences and that’s what Emma wanted.
She really couldn’t blame the mare, she was a western horse by breeding and training. From day one she had rocked the pleasure ring, and then doubled her world and congress wins when she hit the reining pen. By the time Emma was lucky enough to ride the horse she was pretty much along for the ride, with the mare knowing exactly what came next ninety percent of the time. The mare was just what Emma had needed to start her off in the national ring, now she was looking for something with a bit more challenge to make the big wins that much more rewarding. She hadn’t quite settled on details but she had a trainer back home looking at hunter quarter horses and someone out here looking for warmbloods, she figured she would try a few of each and settle things that way. No sooner had she moved onto paying more attention to her cell phone, someone’s voice hit the air. Looking up slightly shocked Emma was smiling of course, she was good at that. The girls voice was pretty cheery, only when she lifted up her sunglasses did Emma really agree with what she had said, nodding slightly she chuckled. She had one of those pretty faces, easy to remember it was one reason she was considering modeling though she forced herself to focus on the other girl for a moment. Letting her own words speak out in a bright and polite tone,
Hey yah, something about you looks totally familiar. Yah I ride at Crossfire, thinking that’s where I’ve seen you before. Feel free to join me if you want, this place is sorta crazy busy right now.
Emma smirked, the girl seemed nice enough. A typical pretty face, nice figure and she evidently kept herself well looked after. Emma didn’t see her as a huge threat visibly, or on the looks scale though inside she did fear the girls innovative unique style could make her stand out a little more than Emma’s stunning looks and pricey clothes. Oh well she wasn’t going to let her own insecurities stop a potential friendship, I mean who knew maybe this girl was totally cool and they would be great friends or maybe she was a total bitch. The least Emma could do was give her a change to prove herself one or the other, for the first time all morning Emma ignored her vibrating cell and continued to look at the girl, before realizing she couldn’t recall a name and assuming the other girl didn’t know hers either she spoke once more.
Oh yah, by the way I’m Emma.

![](http://i731.photobucket.com/albums/ww312/Hardcore_Random/Decorated%20images/Sinttulo1.jpg) ![](http://i41.tinypic.com/vrdnr7.jpg) “I knew it,” Alexandra replied with a smirk when the girl said that she rode at Crossfire. She knew that the girl looked familiar. Alex wasn’t one to judge people, but she could tell that Emma was evaluating her. Bring it, she thought. Alexandra was well liked by almost everyone. The only way that you could become her enemy was if you did something to her, her friends, or her horses. Hopefully this girl wasn’t the type to do that.
“Feel free to join me if you want, this place is sorta crazy busy right now,” the blonde said. “Thanks,” Alex said. She pulled out the other chair and took a seat as she took off her red Ray Bans and stuck them in her bag. Alex kept her music playing, it was a habit and she hoped that it didn’t bother the girl who had introduced herself as Emma. “I’m Alexandra, but everyone calls me Alex,” she said with a polite smile, “I own Rufio and Zazz by the way.” She had to add that in, maybe it would help Emma remember her a bit better. It was hard to miss the girl who always rode bareback and was usually seen doing some random, crazy stunt oh her horse.
Alexandra took a sip of her green iced tea; she never drank coffee. Her basketball coaches had always told her that it would stunt her growth. Alex wasn’t exactly short in the first place, average height at the least. She was about five foot five or five foot seven, she wasn’t sure, either way, she had a slim figure that was mostly muscle. She was the kind of girl that if you told her the objective of any sport, she could figure it out and kick almost anyone’s ass playing it. Soccer and basketball were her main sports, and played all of the positions amazingly for both of them.
Alex was recruited for the soccer and basketball teams at Addison high school as soon as they had figured out her status as an athlete. Alex had dissolved into her own little world as she sat there with Emma and soon snapped back to what was happing around her. She would ask Emma if she played any sports, but Alex didn’t peg her as the athletic type. Instead, she decided to ask her a different question. “Do you go to Addison High School?” she asked. It would be pretty awesome to know someone before she started her junior year at a new school.

![](http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/5172/image26s.png) ![](http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/9970/td1.png) Emma smirked, she wasn’t exactly easy to forget. Blonde bombshell with an equally stunning and quality horse they sort of stood out and Emma was not ashamed to admit it. Though she didn’t want to come off as an arrogant bitch so instead she just chuckled at the girl and nodded, heck yes she did know it. Emma smirked the girl seemed to have her own unique presence, she liked that. She wasn’t afraid to be herself and had settled in around emma almost instantly, it was neat to see someone with such great self confidence and the ability to be so sure of herself even when meeting new people. It was something Emma had always worked on, it was something she had struggled with but she had moved on and forced herself not to be shy as the innocent girl next door was only cute for so long. When Alex sat down Emma was glad, she watched the girl stick her sunnies in her bag though leave her music in, didn’t bother Emma one bit she even took a moment to quickly reply to one of her 7 waiting text messages. Sipping her coffee she took another small bite of her breakie and looked up to Alex again.
No problem, nice to meet you Alex. Oh I think I have seen them both in the barn, my mare’s Sassi and hopefully I’ll have a new horse arriving sometime soon too.
Emma thought the girls face looked more familiar now that she was sitting on the same eye level, she thought for a moment she might have seen the girl riding bareback the other day while she worked Sassi. At the time she had been focused on her riding so didn’t make conversation, hell riding was the only time Emma wasn’t really able to shut up even now just sitting there with Alex she would have loved to gossip about something though they had a few more ground topics to cover before she started spilling her guts and opinions to some random chick from her barn, no matter how potentially cool she seemed. So instead Emma played the cool card, she sipped her coffee read a few more texts quickly before looking up to Alex’s eyes again. The girl struck her as athletic, which was something Emma was too but on a dancing level. She had played soccer too, but it wasn’t something she loved like she did dancing or riding. Emma was naturally fine, petit really with great facial structure and a naturally slim frame. She did take pride in eating reasonably healthy, it was one reason her skin was so fine. Her mother and nutritionist had made Emma a food plan and so chocolate croissants and iced latte’s weren’t on it she had to live every now and again didn’t she. Alex spoke the next question, one Emma was happy to answer. Well sort of.
Yah I will be, sooo excited for that to start...not. You going there too?
Emma hated school. Well the early morning academic part of it. The social calendar was parfait, she loved to see all her friends meet all the guys and hang out. That’s basically all she did at school, that was when she went at all. Hell homework was for nerds and suck ups or for people who actually cared about getting a smart job or something. Emma was going t be a model, the only class she sort of enjoyed was English oh and she loved art and photography. Job choice one, Model. Job choice two, Fashion designer. Job choice three, fashion magazine owner, Job choice four Photographer. So she didn’t exactly see why she needed to be a math genious or chemist of some sort. As far as she was concerned school was there to teach the gifted people to be smarted and those who were gifted in other area’s benefited socially and that was pretty much it. School for her was a social duty, one she was quite good with actually.

![](http://i731.photobucket.com/albums/ww312/Hardcore_Random/Decorated%20images/Sinttulo1.jpg) ![](http://i41.tinypic.com/vrdnr7.jpg) “Nice to meet you too,” Alexandra replied with her famous half smile, “That’s cool that you’re getting a new horse. Someone might send me their little brat pony so that I can train it for them.” Alex loved a challenge, any challenge. A bit of risk always spiced things up. The girl was a bit of an adrenaline junkie, well, a lot of an adrenaline junkie. She loved getting on those crazy ‘un-tamable’ horses and schooling them. She would get on any wild bronc and outlast them. Alex was hoping to meet up with Lucifer sometime soon. She’d been bugging him all week about getting on his mare with a saddle. The horse was claimed to be tame when you rode her bareback, but as soon as you put the saddle on, she would go crazy.
Alexandra checked her phone to see four texts waiting to be answered. She answered them back quickly; her new favorite band was playing on her iPod. Alex asked Emma about school and detected the obvious sarcasm right away in her reply. “Yeah, I'm starting junior year.” Truthfully, Alex didn’t care for school. She didn’t like it, nor did it really bother her. The girl got good grades without even trying, though she wasn’t a brainiac. The only thing that really kept Alex in school was the sports, her friends and the guys. She already knew that she was a starter for both soccer and basketball, but being new to Addison, she didn’t really have any friends yet. But this, after all, was Miss Alexandra Sappington, and she could make friends anywhere.
Guys on the other hand, were a different story. The only guy that she knew in the school was Lucifer, and she wasn’t quite sure what their current relationship was. He had actually already asked her out on a date. That was probably the quickest any guy had asked Alexandra out. Well, not really. She had a lot of random guys from her school back in Houston follow her home or randomly ask her to the dance during a class. Alex just pushed most of those guys away, occasionally taking one of them to keep her occupied. Luke wasn’t someone to just occupy her time though, she actually kind of like him, though she would never admit it at the moment. "Anything exciting happening at Addison High?"

![](http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/5172/image26s.png) ![](http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/9970/td1.png) Sitting across from Alex was turning out to be less than awkward or weird. She was enjoying the other girls presence, though the fact that they were talking about school wasn’t exactly her idea of a great convo, unless of course there was some serious gossip going on. Emma wasn’t the girl who brought home good grades and was rewarded, she was the kid who went to school probably 4 days a week and as long as she was passing them her parents would keep sending whatever she wanted her way. Next thing she wanted was a new pick-up and her own horse trailer – a big fancy one with living quarters because well she wouldn’t stay at shows any other way. Emma was used to getting pretty much whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted it so the truck for her next birthday was just well expected. Of course they would pull through and get her what she wanted, the only thing she hadn’t exactly decided on yet was color but it was a minor detail and she would make up her mind soon enough. Alex spoke again and Emma found herself smiling and listening more attentively than she did in her classes, oh the irony. When Alex mentioned Emma’s new horse situation the girl smirked even bigger. Oh the potential there was for an impressive horse of her choice was fantastic, she couldn’t wait to start trying horses out. Then Alex spoke about getting a pony to work with Emma chuckled, she had never had the desire to train a horse that wouldn’t benefit herself and well ponies were not her thing at all.
Yah, my coach as a few for me to try but I haven’t decided what I want yet. A pony will be interesting, not my favourite ride but a few of those POA’s are pretty cute.
She hadn’t thought of a POA, her preferred kind were the ones that resembled mini spotted quarter horses. They were the only kind of pony that actually interested her, they were cute little buggers the one at her old trainers had been a class A hunter horse as well as a western horse, the bugger was quite the spoiled pony as well. She loved to spoil Sassi though so she really wasn’t one to judge, Emma knew better than to play that card. While she judged people daily she couldn’t help herself, she had gotten much better about it usually gave people a second chance or so though in her books looks were truly very important – horses and humans alike. It was unfortunate that the world panned out that way, but it’s the way it was. Emma was used to it, she was very up to dated on the current trends and looks and hell she had high hopes of being a model pretty quickly. She had already done a few shoots and gotten pretty positive feedback from the right people so hopefully she would catch her break and be able to model fulltime one of these days. Junior year, Emma had done that last year it had been pretty fun actually. She loved highschool in comparison to elementary school the freedom was fantastic, the ability to just up and leave when she wanted had been fully taken advantage of regularly. She spoke to Alex again, her tone slightly more excited about school this time then it had been last.
I did that last year, being a Junior was pretty great as far as school goes it was my favourite year so far.
It was the truth, parties, boys, dances, oh the list went on. Every minute of it was something new and even more exciting than the last well socially, as far as the school work it was all the same to her. Didn’t matter who taught it in which way, in what language or why she needed to learn it the girl had little interest and wasn’t learning much as far as academics went anyways. She had the social network all worked out though, the new school wouldn’t be too different from what she went through back home she would have to make a few new friends but the idea’s would be the same. When Alex spoke again this time in question about anything going on Emma smirked. Well she had some gossip already, a few of the kids from school had already sort of adopted emma, though they weren’t the horsey kind but they were still good friends, well as good as fake friends got. They spilled the drama, they shared the goods and got her invited everywhere and in return, emma the new hot popular girl sat with them, it was pretty winwin – especially since the older boys apparently had a thing for fresh meat or something. Hmm, she wasn’t aware of anything the school was planning, but as far as parties or nights on the town she had heard a few different stories and had a few invites. She wasn’t certain if Alex was the person to share them with, so instead she posed her own question the girls answer would decide what exactly Emma spilled.
Well what kind of excitement are you looking for? Remember I only go to school for the social experience.
