I don't need a friend, I need to mend so far away
So come sit by the fire and play a while, but you can't stay too long
It aches in every bone, I'll die alone, but not for pleasure
I see my heart explode, it's been eroded by the weather here
If you want me hold me back
So come sit by the fire and play a while, but you can't stay too long
It aches in every bone, I'll die alone, but not for pleasure
I see my heart explode, it's been eroded by the weather here
If you want me hold me back
Tonight was a night that Maddie had been looking forward to for a couple days now. She hadn't known Aaron for all that long but they really seemed to hit it off and they were becoming very good friends, to the point that their friendship was starting to resemble her and David's. Although, David and her were seeming to grow apart recently and that was mostly due to the fact that He wanted to spend every moment possible with Honor, so that was leaving him little, if any, time to actually hang out with her like they use to and it was really starting to bother her. Him being with Honor didn't bother her at all, especially since she liked Honor and was happy for David, but she was really missing her best friend.
She hardly knew anyone in this town so when her roommate and best friend seemed to have little time to spend with her she got lonely quickly and then came the boredom and that was fallowed closely by starting trouble. But she had seem to find another friend, not that she wanted to replace David, but she needed someone to be around at least every now and then. Aaron seemed to be her saving grace at this point. The fact that they got along so well really helped her keep things between David and her okay because he didn't want to ignore her like he was, it just happened. So when Aaron invited her over for some drinks she had jumped on the oppertunity to get out of the house and spend some time with him. Honestly, she wouldn't object to spending her entire day with him, especially since he was cute and had this amazing effect on her. He was like an instant rush of happiness for her which she was admittedly, getting a little addicted to.
Maddie parked her Maserati in his driveway an slid out of the car, shutting the door quietly behind her as she did so. She was wearing her usual; jeans, work boots, and a long sleeve shirt with a tank top underneath. Her attire usually through people off, especially since she had a great body but tended not to show it off and she never trried to make herself look flattering. That apparently was considered weird to people but she didn't really give a shit. She made her way to the front door of the house and was a little surprised when the door was open. She stepped inside and smiled when she saw him. "Hey there Georgia boy," She said with a teasing tone.
