About a week after telling her, the teasing began, and he had to endure it with the few friends he did have, through doing his best to ignore it, and taking refuge in the library. The thirty-something librarian was basically whom he considered his best friend through this time. At the beginning of junior year, a new boy in his school was openly bi, and he ended up dating the boy, Kyle, for a year and a half. Jas took a huge hit when about three quarters of the way through senior year, Kyle suddenly decided he was straight, and broke up with Jas, completely ignoring him from there on out. As soon as he was old enough, Jasper fled to Addison – it was where the librarian had grown up, and he liked the sound of the place, so he moved and got a job.
