David Adams Truck Things at the barn had heated up rather quickly and David was simply shocked at what was now going on. He had a girl, named Honor, in his truck. She had a couple horses and thought he was gorgeous. The end. He knew nothing more and wasn't sure if he should do what they were going to his house to do. It seemed wrong in his mind in more than a couple ways but he couldn't shake this feeling he had. He sincerely hoped that Maddie wasn't home as they drove to his house. A quick left and right here and there and they were very close to the destination. He entered the password into the gates of the estate before the truck rumbled in and the duramax pulled into the driveway.
The door to the garage opened and he pulled in, before the door shut. David looked over at the empty space next to his truck and truly couldn't have been happier.. Thank god she wasn't here or else he would have never heard the end of this. His eyes turned quickly to Honor before he reached over and kissed her, completely unable to resist the sudden urge and he really hoped she didn't mind. "Watch your step, it's a bit farther down than expected." He got out of the truck before going to unlock the door into the house. He turned the key before opening the door and flipped on the lights before seeing a note near the switch. Hey! Won't be back for a couple of days, please try to behave and hold down the fort! ~ Maddie He smiled before he decided to leave it there. He put his keys into his jacket pocket before he tossed it onto the couch. He sat down to take of his boots before he looked at Honor. "Feel free to make yourself at home." His voice had become a little shy as he looked at her before looking down to his boots as he slid them by the door.
The house was large, exceptionally clean, and very nice; not something you'd expect from a twenty and twenty-three year old. Luckily, Maddie and him being roommates was one of the best things that could have happened and he always enjoyed her company. They felt like siblings and fought like them too. Not to mention that Maddie was very good friends with David's fifteen year old sister, so they were kind of like a big family. He looked around, almost unsure and definitely trying to delay.

oh, but you were so shy, so was i maybe that's why it was so hard to believe when you smiled and said to me "are you gonna kiss me or not are we gonna do this or what? i think you know i like you a lot but you're 'bout to miss your shot are you gonna kiss me or not?"
[/b] she said, hopping down from her seat with ease. She noticed an empty parking space next to his truck, and it made her curious. What if he had a girlfriend? She hadn't even thought to ask. She didn't want to cause more drama than need be. Honor began to chew on her lower lip again. As they walked towards the door, another sign that someone else lived here; a note. She glanced questionably at David but didn't speak. Honor slipped her boots off, knowing they were probably covered in mud and horse manure. The usual. She didn't want to be tramping that stuff all over his house; his beautiful house. Make herself at home? This place was a mansion compared to her little home. She stifled a giggle at the thought. She would never be able to live in a house like this. Too clean for her tastes, in the first place. She was a messy person, and liked to show where she had been. A boot here, a jacket there, a bra flung over the sofa. Hell, she was a single woman living alone. Who cared? But now, looking at his home, it made her worried. What would he have thought if they had went back to her place instead of his? "Does someone else live here?" Honor finally blurted out, her curiosity getting the best of her. Honor walked towards the man, wrapping her arms around him and kissed him firmly on the mouth. Even if someone else lived here, it didn't mean that it was his girlfriend. He could have a roommate, or even a housekeeper. She had no idea, and it wasn't any of her business anyway. Other than the fact she was going to sleep with him. What was she doing? She never had a fling, never kissed a guy the first time they met, let alone sleeping with them? It had never occurred to her that it was something that people did. But at this point, she didn't care. All she wanted was to get tangled up in this man, and enjoy herself. Honor kissed him again and again, each kiss getting more passionate. David Adams Truck He loved the feeling behind they're kiss and just enjoyed it that much more when she kissed him back, a lot harder. He smiled when she said she was use to big trucks and he took that as a compliment because this thing was his baby when he wasn't working. He didn't catch her look about the note and tried a little to ignore it, hoping she didn't think he had a girlfriend, because he didn't but wished he did.
He looked over at her as she spoke and he nodded. "Yeah, my roommate Maddie lives here. She's pretty much like family, so no worries." He smiled reassuringly before she started walking towards him. He shivered slightly as she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him. His heart immediately sped up as he kissed her back and he stepped in closer to her, they're bodies touching. He felt slightly guilty about this; he had never had a fling before always knew a person very well before they jumped into bed together, although, he was always told he was rather excellent, but he figured a random stranger might be able to confirm that. He stepped closer to her, this time he was slightly pushing against her, and he kissed her, again and again. Things were really starting to heat up and he just couldn't get enough of it, of her, he wanted so much more despite what his conscious told him.
He continued to step into her, pushing her back slowly until they were against a wall in the hallway, conveniently right next to the open door which was his room. His hands moved to her hips and took a moment to catch his breath and to speak. "You sure you're ok with this?" His eyes searched her face for any doubt and then his eyes held her stare. He was chomping at this bit for this but wanted to make sure she was too. After all, he was shocked that he was as alright with this as he was right now. He wanted to give her the chance to say no before there was a possibility of not being able to stop.

[/b] she whispered, and kissed him again and again. As he led her down the hallway, she felt like a giddy teenager. A born-again virgin, who had no idea what could happen in the next room. She was ready to have fun and explore this man all over. He backed her into a wall in the hall, and she found her hands roaming across his body. She stopped as he spoke, and she nodded her head. "Yes, of course," she said, kissing him over and over, practically begging him to take her into his room. Things were getting intense, and she was ready to explode. By this point, there was no way she would have been able to say no, even if she wanted to. Not that she wanted to, because she wanted this as much as he did. Or at least it seemed that way. If he had given her a chance to say no, she was hoping he didn't want one. Because she wasn't giving him a chance for one. "Yes, I'm sure," she repeated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Honor laid in bed next to the muscular man, her clothes scattered throughout his room. She leaned up to kiss him again and smiled as she pulled back. "Oh wow, you're amazing," she said, admiringly. But she regretted not being able to know him better. After having sex with him, she wanted to know everything about him. Sure, typically, she should have known more about him before crawling into bed with him, but at this point, she didn't care. She was having an amazing time, with an amazing guy. And he was keeping her mind off of the loss of her parents. He was young, but didn't guys hit their prime at a young age? It sure felt like it when she had been in bed with him. Honor sat up in the bed, pulling the blanket up to cover her chest. Modesty shouldn't have been an issue anymore, but for some reason she continued to cover herself anyways. "So, this isn't normal for me," she said, chewing on her lip. She had always had an issue with chewing on her lip, and her dad used to reprimand her for it. Chewing her lips was to her as chewing their nails would be to someone else. She couldn't help it. Honor especially did it when she was nervous. Again, she got that feeling that she was a young teenager. At 29, she shouldn't have that feeling anymore. She should have grown into more of an adult by now, but at this point she didn't care. "I mean, this whole crawling into bed with someone I barely know thing," she said, trying to explain herself. "It was amazing. I just don't want you to think of me as a whore," Honor said, beginning to ramble on. Another of her bad habits she had picked up over the years. David Adams Truck He laid quietly next to her, his mind still processing what they had just done. He hadn't had sex like that in a while and he had certainly felt like he had brought his A-game. He smiled as Honor leaned up and kissed him. He returned it with a soft smile on his face and he listened as she spoke. "Well it's really a team effort." He said teasingly as he watched her sit up before he spoke again. "Honestly, that was amazing." He looked her in the eyes for a moment before he started to feel shy about what he just said. That comment would be nothing like what he would normally say. He glanced over at the clock, nine pm, and then he sighed.
The sheets covered him to just below his abs and he felt a little chill so he pulled them up a little higher. He stretched, all the muscles in his body contracted, and looked over to her as she spoke. He was glad to hear that this wasn't normal for her either and it made him feel a bit less awkward. "This isn't normal for me either, but I'm glad you enjoyed it too. I cannot possibly think of you as a whore, I've got this feeling that you're not at all that kind of person. Besides, you're much to beautiful for that." His eyes met hers after he spoke and now all he wanted to do was cuddle. He was possibly one of the biggest cuddlers in the word. He absolutely loved it and could lay in bed all day or night like that. He looked out the window as the moon shown through the window, what a gorgeous night.

[/b] she said, and leaned down to kiss him again. She couldn't get enough of his kisses. It'd been so long since she had been romantically involved with anyone, so she wasn't quite sure what to do. She continued to sit up in bed and gaze out the window, drifting thoughts scattering through her brain. Sex wasn't something she allowed herself to have in quite some time. It was a pleasure she didn't think she had the time for. Honor laid back down next to David as he spoke. So he wasn't a man whore. Not that she thought he was. He seemed too gentle and kind for that lifestyle. She curled up next to him, laying her arm across his chest to cuddle. She loved cuddling, but she had almost forgotten. She loved the feel of a strong man being next to her with his arms wrapped around her. That feeling that they were never going to let go of each other. She was beautiful? Nobody had told her that in a long time either. She reached up to kiss him again and again, but while her mind was awake, her body was too physically tired to even think about doing anything again. Kissing and cuddling was just fine with her. Maybe some talking if he was up for it. She wanted to know who he was, and where he was from. [/ul] Tagged; David Adams Words; 463. Notes; (: eek! David Adams Truck David was extremely content with just laying here next to her, especially when she kissed him. Some times he found it hard to pull away as he felt like he could just kiss her forever. When she cuddled up next to him, he kissed her again. "You just keep getting better and better." He smiled and snuggled up close to her before he wrapped his arms around her, loving the body heat she was giving off. He was always a very hot person temperature wise so he was surprised he was a little cold, but he did just physically exhaust himself. He sighed as he just soaked everything up but he wanted something more. He wanted to know who she was mentally, seeing that he had already figured her out physically.
Maybe she'd tell him a little more about herself if he told some of his story? He looked down at her before kissing her forehead. "So I think we should get to know each other a little better. I was born and raised in North Dakota where my parents have a very large cattle ranch with over three-thousand head of cattle, and over two-thousand acres; I'm not sure exactly how much but we use a helicopter to get around. I have a younger sister named Kellsey, she recently turned fifteen and my world just about revolves around her. I work for an international company called Genex, where I raise and care for both beef and dairy bulls. I also collect semen and catalog it before sending it to farms all over the world. I love my job, but hate some of the bulls. I had moved here because Genex offered me a full-time job and I couldn't pass it up. My girlfriend of three plus years broke up with me after that because I refused to move to New York City with her. I have a roommate named Maddie, she's a jockey and has really become part of the family. She's a riot and has been a great friend through everything." He sighed and felt like he was an open book now. Ask me anything! NOT. He looked down at her before he kissed her and looked back out the window.

[/b] she said, a pet name falling from her lips. It just slipped, but it wasn't like she called him love or anything. "Sorry, I hope you didn't mind," she said. Pet names weren't usually in her favor. But sometimes, things just fall out of her mouth. She began to chew on her lip and looked out the window. Honor hoped she hadn't offended him by calling him hon. It really wasn't a big deal, but for some reason, for her it was at this moment. She couldn't place her reasoning, but she didn't know this man at all. What if he had lost someone who called him hon? These kind of things could bring back utterly terrifying memories. Honor scolded herself mentally. If she told her story to David, she'd have to face that her parents were gone once again. And the fact that her younger sister was able to cope with their death better than her. Honor couldn't even be at the old ranch without breaking down. And yet, she'd have to tell him everything about her. Maybe not everything, but losing her parents was a big deal. But on the brighter side, maybe she'd be able to convince him to help her out with the animals. God, she needed help with the animals. She looked over at David and listened to him as he spoke about his life. She had never been to North Dakota. Was it warm or cold there? Honor had no idea, but that was okay. She didn't need to know his hometown to know him. Once he was done with his story, she kissed him hard and pulled back. "I have a younger sister too, Isobel. But she's 24, so five years younger than me," she breathed, and began her story. "I've lived in Texas my whole life, actually just a little bit south of here. My parents-" Honor choked a little on the thought of her parents. It was going to be hard to explain them to him. "Excuse me, my parents owned a ranch a lot like Crossfire. My mom and dad trained the horses together, and also allowed boarding. I learned a lot about training horses from the two of them. When I turned eighteen, I went to Oklahoma for college to major in equine studies. Currently, I'm a freelance horse trainer," she said, and kissed David. She wasn't done. "A couple years ago, my parents were in a fatal car accident, leaving my sister and I to divide up the ranch," she said. "I couldn't stand to be on the ranch anymore after they died. And my sister was better at management skills anyway. So I took my favorite horses and moved here. I have three competing horses, two trail horses and a foal. And at home, I have an Australian Shepherd puppy, a Dalmatian and an Irish Setter. My life is just a little bit hectic with animals right now. Never had a really serious relationship, at least none lasting over six months," Honor said, chewing on her lip. It had been a few years. She wasn't going to cry, but it still upset her to think about her parents. "I need help with the animals, but I don't know too many people here. I should probably hire someone, but I've been so busy. It's hard, and I shouldn't be complaining to you," she said, and kissed David again. At least they were getting to know each other now. David Adams Truck He didn't care at all about being called hon and he saw no need for an apology. "Not at all" He glanced over at her and smiled. He loved to cuddle and loved what was going on right now.His ears were listening but his mind was completely doting on her kisses, he just couldn't get enough and apparently neither could she. Oddly enough he absorbed all the information she was willing to give and he started to make a brief timeline in his head of everything she just said, noting little details here and there. He felt like Maddie and Honor would really get along, especially with the parents thing; that was always hard to find someone who even remotely understood what was going on. He usually had to try his best for Maddie but he was never really anything more than a big teddy bear on those bad days. They'd just lie on the couch together the entire day and he'd just listen to her talk or she'd talk about anything, he was truly there for her whenever she needed him. To most people they probably looked like they were in an relationship, but they had no attraction to one another, they were more or less siblings; something Maddie never had and David couldn't have enough of.
He was about to respond when he heard the garage door open and the Maserati pull in. The garage door shut and then the door to the house opened, and David could have had a heart attack. "Well, I guess you're going to meet Maddie...." He said quietly as he looked over at Honor with an almost apologetic look on his face. Ok, how was he going to work this? How would Maddie take this? After all, she knew all about Casey and how much his sister still liked her and Maddie was great friends with Kellsey so would she say anything? His thoughts stopped as Maddie walked into the house. He guessed he'd find out soon enough. He wasn't at all embarrassed to be with Honor, oh no, but he wished these two could have met under different circumstances.
Maddie opened the door to the house and came waltzing in. She smiled as the house was quiet and knew David was probably trying to sleep; she'd fix that. She went upstairs to her room, sounding like a herd of elephants going up the stairs. She quickly changed into sweatpants and a tank top before she let her hair down. "David... You've got about thirty seconds to get your lazy ass out of bed. You're much too young to be sleeping at.." She looked over at the clock before finishing. "nine o'clock." Her voice was rather loud as she yelled down the stairs. She waited about five seconds before she slid down the railing, her feet hitting the hardwood floor with a thump. "Dirt squirrel get out of bed! This is you're final warning!" She yelled before walking over to the TV and watching the weather quickly. She sighed before taking a deep breath and grabbing a beer out of the fridge. She found it odd that David hadn't gotten up so she figured she'd check on him. She walked down the hallway before opening his door and flipping on the lights as she started to speak. "Dude, are you.... Who is this?" Her voice had quieted down as she saw him looking back at her from next to a girl. She wasn't sure how to explain what she was feeling, but she was definitely feeling a little hurt; not because of what had or was going on, but that she'd be loosing her best friend out here, just like she always had. She was happy for him, happy that he had made a small leap in an attempt to move on. Her eyes locked directly with his for a moment before moving to her and then immediately back to him.

[/b] she said when he told her it was fine to call him hon. It was comforting being able to call someone a pet name. Honor had never really had a relationship worth mentioning. No terrible breakups, and no heart aches. Sure, there were a few boys she had dated, but she never could find the right one. Although, she wasn't exactly looking either. Honestly, she really needed a friend. Someone who would be there for her through it all, no matter the circumstances. And hey, if they were going to have sex too, she didn't mind. Sex was pretty much always a good thing. It kind of hurt her that he didn't say anything about her past, but there wasn't really much to say. She didn't want to hear that he was sorry for her loss; she'd heard it too many times. Honor wasn't sure what she wanted. Maybe it was just the comfort of knowing he was there. And he hadn't given that too her. At least, not yet. Besides, she had her dogs who loved on her and gave her comfort when she needed it. Honor didn't usually break down when she thought about her parents; it had been two years. But it still hurt her when she thought about it. It might have been easier if they had died of natural causes, like old age, and she had been expecting it. But when they died, Honor had been planning to visit their home the next day. It was just so sudden, and she never even got to say goodbye. Honor jumped slightly when she heard a noise from the garage. She gave David a confused look, but he answered her question before she could get it out. His roommate. What a way to meet her. It was early and the pair were lying in bed together. She didn't even really know much about Maddie. Hell, she didn't know much about David, except what he had just told her. "Should I get dressed?" she asked and pulled the blanket up to her chest. But before she could even think about getting dressed, she heard the other girl yelling throughout the home, calling for David. There wasn't going to be any time for her to get dressed. And the door opened, and a pretty girl appeared in the room. Honor looked at her and didn't know what to say. Her name. Honor needed to say her name. But it wasn't everyday she was found in bed with a guy she had just met. [/ul] Tagged; David Adams Words; 464. Notes; So, my writing sucks. Sorry! David Adams Truck David looked over at her with an almost apologetic smile but he knew not to say that he was sorry for her, Maddie hated that shit and he figured Honor wouldn't really appreciate it either. "If you ever need to talk or just have someone to hang out with, my doors always open and Maddie's going through the same thing right now so I know she won't mind either." He knew it had to be hard because everyone always said the same thing, thinking they were helping but they really weren't; they said it because they had to or else they'd look like assholes, they'd break some unspoken rule of society, even though their words were hollow and meaningless. Sure, they'd listen but what could they ever say?
He shook his head as Honor asked if she should get dressed. "No, don't worry about it. You probably won't have time anyway but you can if you're uncomfortable." He said before glancing over at her and kissing her, trying to reassure her that Maddie really didn't care and wasn't one to judge.. especially since David had walked into the house a couple of times and had to turn and walk right back out. He always thought that was fairly funny but he'd never tell anyone; they were pretty understanding about keeping things... private one could say. He watched as the door opened and squinted when the lights flipped on, and there was Maddie, staring at him, slightly shocked, but he noticed there was a little something else there too, but he wouldn't say anything. "You're home.... like super early, you know, by like 3 days..." He glared right back at her making her do the same right back. "Honor, this is Maddie. Maddie this is Honor and I'm not getting out of bed, sorry woodchuck, you're digging holes solo tonight." He finished with a smile before watching as Maddie looked like she was going to kill him.
Maddie smiled as she was introduced and she took a sip of her beer before leaning against the wall slightly, enjoying the sight of David rebounding. Her eyes shot him a looked when he had mentioned that she was home really early, like an entire three days early, but she took this as an open invitation to conversation and she walked right into the room and laid opposite of Honor. She snickered as David was now sandwiched between two women and right away she snuggled up to him with her head on his shoulder, her eyes on the ceiling. "Well you see... Things never quite go according as planned so yeah, I'm home really early. Turns out my grandparents want nothing to do with me and my hook-up turned out to be a complete turn-off; like this dude was not at ALL anything I'd ever go for. So I had nothing left to do but to come home, to you... My helpless... bare assed little North Dakota boy; gosh you just grew up so fast." She couldn't help but to laugh at the end of her comment. She punched him hard in the ribs when he called her 'woodchuck'. "Seriously man... You can't go around saying our code names... If we're ever in a convoy people are going to know who we are! Like that's rig drivi'n 101- never give out your code name! Besides, I didn't plan on getting drunk tonight anyway but I just might now." She laughed a little before she sighed and glanced over at Honor. She hoped she wasn't making her uncomfortable by being here, and doing.. well, this. If she was to stick around, she was sure she'd get use to it fairly quickly but who knows, maybe Maddie wouldn't be around long enough for her to stick around. She looked down at her hands as she fiddled with her fingers almost nervously but she wasn't going to say why. She was pretty sure David had picked up on something but that's why she had quickly put up that front. "Ok, well I've bothered you two enough for one night so I'm going to leave." She smiled softly before she kissed David on the forehead before she glared at him. "You behave yourself. I'm not sure that I'm going to be here tonight or in the morning so just lock up the house if you leave." She said before looking over to Honor, her blue eyes tried to figure her out a little but she didn't try hard. If David had some kind of connect to her she had to be a sweetie. "It was nice to meet you Honor." She smiled softly before rolling off the bed and grabbing her beer before heading to the door.

[/b] she said and kissed David harder. Honor didn't need to start another round of sex again while David's roommate was walking into the room, so she quickly broke the kiss and smiled playfully at him. Maybe they'd be able to go at it again later, but right now she wasn't much in the mood. She just liked his kisses. Honor cuddled up closer to David's side, keeping herself covered from his roommate. David was so much younger than her, but he was mature for his age. He seemed to have it well-made and he seemed fairly happy. She just wanted to get to know him even more. She wanted to be in his life, in some way. Not necessarily as his girlfriend, but at least as a close friend. That slept together on occasion. He really was good in bed. But if either one of them ever got into a relationship, Honor wouldn't go pushing the boundaries. She knew where to stop. She listened as David and Maddie conversed and smiled as David mentioned her being home three days early. But then when Maddie slipped into bed next to David and started to cuddle with him, Honor was confused. Was their relationship actually platonic and strictly roommates? It sure didn't look like it to her, but Maddie also didn't seem jealous. It was confusing, but Honor wasn't going to question it. Although the beer Maddie had sounded good to her. She listened to the girl ramble on about her day, and just thought about the beer. Honor wasn't much of a drinker, but she didn't mind the occasional beer. As long as she didn't drink too much. Maddie finally got up and Honor gave her a soft smile. "Nice to meet you too!" she called out after the girl. Honor turned to David and kissed him. "So, what's your code name?" she teased, her hand moving down his stomach. She let it rest right above his pelvic bone and cuddled even closer. Now that she listened to Maddie talk, she was a little more convinced they weren't having sex. It soothed her in a way. David was all hers, at least for the time being. They hadn't decided if she was staying the night or not though. And she really didn't want to overstay her welcome. "Anyhow, is that normal Maddie?" Honor asked, curious. The girl was a bit outspoken but she seemed fairly nice all in all. She could see why David had her as a roommate. She surely did seem to keep things lively, at least.[/ul] Tagged; David Adams Words; 571. Notes; So, my writing sucks. Sorry! David Adams Truck He looked over at her softly before she kissed him and when she broke it off and smiled playfully at him, he leaned over and whispered in her ear, "Careful now, we don't want to burn the house down." He smiled before he kissed the side of her neck, trailing down to her shoulder slowly, trying to tease her a little. He pulled back before he took her hand in his, comparing how large his hand seemed next to hers, when she cuddled up even closer to him. He really was enjoying being around her and it wasn't just because they had had amazing sex, but he enjoyed her company and he liked her genuinely as a person even though they had just met earlier today, which seemed insane.
David shook his head 'no' when Maddie said to behave. "I will behave if you do." He said, his voice a little concerned about how she was acting. He saw right through the bullshit front she had put up, and he was almost nervous to have her leave the house, it wouldn't result in anything good. He watched as Maddie turned around at the door and shook her head 'no', spoke and left.
He turned to Honor as she kissed him again and when she asked what his code name was he froze as her hand moved down his stomach and she moved even closer to her. It took him a couple seconds for him to recover before he bit his lip, he hated his code name. "It's Cupcake..." He frowned before looking up at the ceiling and shaking his head slowly. "Maddie and my sister came up with it, and now matter how much I hate it, I have to respond to it." He shook his head slightly as Honor asked if that was how Maddie usually was. He took a couple seconds before he responded, "Well, kind of. The whole getting into to bed with us, that's pretty normal, but everything else isn't. Something else must have happened that she's just trying to hide but I guess overall, no, that's not how she usually is. " He said before he heard her go upstairs.
He made a rather bold move and pulled her on top of him, pulling the covers with her, trying to be as polite as possible. He leaned up to kiss her and he let it linger as he started to trace along her jaw with kisses, moving down the side of her neck, and ending at her collar bone. "Think of what you want for breakfast, I can make just about anything... That is if you want to stay?" He looked up at her before he kissed her neck again, trying like hell to tease her and make her sweat a little. He didn't necessarily want to have sex again, but he wasn't totally against it either even though he was strictly enjoying her company. He was just trying to get her pretty bothered because he found it increasingly fun and he made another bold move. His finger tips ran down the sides of her torso, trying to make her shiver, trying so very hard to make this kill her, to take her breath away, and make it hard for her to resist.
Maddie turned at the door as David said he'd only behave if she would. Her eyes dropped to the floor for a moment before they looked back at him and she shook her head. "No, I really don't think that's possible." She forced a soft smile before shutting off the lights and shutting the door behind her. She made her way back to the kitchen and grabbed a couple more beers and she shot up to her room and just crashed on her bed, attempting to drink away the night.

oh, but you were so shy, so was i maybe that's why it was so hard to believe when you smiled and said to me "are you gonna kiss me or not are we gonna do this or what? i think you know i like you a lot but you're 'bout to miss your shot are you gonna kiss me or not?"
Honor giggled as David whispered in her ear and began to kiss her neck. He was definitely trying to tease her, and it was working. She kissed him again, and pulled back. "Maybe I do," she said. No, she didn't literally want to burn the house down. But she did want to enjoy every second she had with this wonderful man. Whether it be sexual or platonic, she wanted to be with him. When he grabbed her hand, she noticed her hands were small compared to his broad ones. He was so manly and perfect. If only this wasn't for just the night. But it seemed wrong to ask for anymore at the moment. Everything was going well, even with his roommate coming home. She was happy, which hadn't happened in a long time. She actually felt close to someone who wasn't her family, and it was different. But in a good way.
It had been a long time since she had felt close to anyone. After her parents' death, she had been alone. Isobel didn't really want anything to do with her, claiming she was 'too moody and depressed.' Honor's sister really had some issues with feelings she probably should get help with. The rest of Honor's family had always been so distant that even at the funeral, she had barely recognized any of them. Although, through her tears, it had been hard to see anyone. Throughout high school and college, Honor had been a loner as well. She didn't connect well with anyone, because she preferred the company of her animals. Most of the people she grew up with just didn't understand that. It frustrated her beyond belief, but by the end of her freshman year of high school, she grew accustomed to the feeling of being alone. It was normal.
When Maddie was gone, David revealed his code name. Honor couldn't help herself from giggling slightly. "I think Cupcake suits you well, my darling Cupcake," she said, teasingly. She kissed him on the mouth, hard. He was so amazingly handsome, but he wasn't cute. Cute was girly, innocent and well, a cupcake. David was more rugged, and matured. He was handsome. He was stunning. Hell, he was beautiful. But he wasn't cute. He was far from being cute. There was no way Honor would ever be able to call him Cupcake, other than making fun of his code name. Honor liked some pet names, but there was some that she just couldn't stand. She hated to be called 'babe' or 'baby.' She felt if a guy was using those nicknames, he was cheating on her. It was strange, but it was the connection she had put together while she was in high school. To this day, she refused to be called either name.
Honor nodded when he talked about Maddie. He seemed concerned, but she didn't want to push it any further. Maybe in a little bit she'd urge him to go check on her. They seemed like they had the relationship siblings should have. And honestly, Honor was slightly jealous of that. Her sister and her were never close. Even though Isobel was younger, she had always thought of Honor as immature and emotional. Isobel was built like a brick, and one of those ladies with their hair pulled back into a bun an ready to get down to business. She had been like that forever. Isobel never had time to play or party. She had work to do, and work always came first. But honestly, Honor wouldn't be surprised if the younger girl settled down before she did. Boys liked to go for the business girl now a days.
The brunette was shocked as David pulled her on top of him. He had a lot of strength and muscle that showed when he moved like that. She brushed his hair back and kissed him, softer this time. She listened to his words and smiled. "If you're cooking, I want pancakes," she laughed. Of course she wanted to stay. All she wanted to do right now was be with him. Her three dogs were in her garage at home so they could stay warm and wander freely without ruining her house. Honor had left them there earlier today with food and water because she had expected to be out for a while. She always left the three out there during the day anyhow. It was heated with a wood stove, and they had everything they would need for quite some time out there. It was the perfect place for them when she was gone. They even had their own doggy beds under the workbench. "If you want me to stay, I want to," Honor said, kissing him again. She really couldn't get enough of his kisses.

David Adams Truck David smiled as she giggled at his code name and he shook his head slightly. He listened as she spoke and he felt as though he needed to protest a bit, he hated his code name. "It suits me? Is that because I'm absolutely delicious?" He said with a laugh and then he quieted down as she kissed him rather hard and he eagerly returned it before sighing. He really couldn't get over how much he was enjoying her company. Not only was she beautiful, but she was funny and he truly loved that. She was also a good kisser and he certainly didn't mind that at all.
He looked up at her before he leaned up and kissed her back before she spoke. He smiled before propping himself up with his elbows slightly, "Sounds good." He wasn't sure why but he almost needed her to stay. He knew it had to be something about her company that made him feel this way, but he would be heartbroken if she left. It had been a while since he had actually slept with someone in his bed. Like a couple months actually and he was quite lonely. Sure, he'd sleep with Maddie if she was upset, or they'd crash on the couch together, but this was something entirely different. He didn't have this kind of feeling with Maddie, and it was probably because he viewed her as a sister, a rather short one at that. He sighed in content before reaching up slightly and kissing her softly, then let himself lay back down, no longer propped up on his elbows.
He smiled as she spoke and he nodded, of course he wanted her to stay. At this point, he wasn't sure if he wanted her to leave in the morning, or any time at all tomorrow. He could settle for her staying a few days, even though he was certain she had a lot of other things to do besides lay here in bed with him. He returned her kiss rather passionately before he actually answered. "Well I want you," He said before kissing her again and figuring he better complete that sentence even though it was completely true, "To stay." He wasn't sure how he was able to get that out between kisses but he found himself smiling for no apparent reason.
