personality » Calix is a hard person to get to know. His personality is subject to change at will - sometimes he can be charming, sometimes he might almost be able to fool you into thinking he's a good guy. Most of the time, however, he's being a first-class dick. It would be an understatement to say he has brother issues because Arlo has always been his parents' favourite, but he's mainly an asshole because that means he doesn't have to care about anyone or anything. Get underneath that though, and he can be a sensitive soul, although that takes some serious effort and it's really not worth it in the long run. He'll sleep with any girl anywhere, especially if it will annoy or upset Arlo, and he wont apologise for it later. He's spoilt, most definitely, but Cal hardly cares. His entire life is a status symbol, and he likes it to be like that. He'll flash his money about in front of less fortunate people for the fun of it, and he's hardly beyond using it to pull women. Even so, CC isn't a particularly shallow guy - he understands women better than you might expect, and if one gets under his skin they'll never be treated badly intentionally. He doesn't like to be emotional though, even with people close to him, so it's always hard to tell what he's thinking or feeling as he'll never express either intentionally unless he loses his temper.
WE'LL TAKE CONTROL OF THE WORLD,
appearance » Calix is tan as you might expect of an Italian, with the typical black hair as well. However, his eyes are light green as opposed to his brother's blue. He'd probably be regarded as tall by most, since he's about 6ft 3, and he's rather toned so taking him on wouldn't necessarily be encouraged.

LIKE IT'S ALL WE HAVE TO HOLD ON TO,
medical history » Naturally getting into more fights than Arlo, Cal's broken his right hand in multiple places, he's had his nose broken for him once or maybe even twice, he' s probably broken or cracked a few ribs in the past too. Horse riding accidents mean he's also broken his collar bone and fractured his left leg as well. He's got a fair amount of scars, but none of them are particularly important as they're all from plain idiocy on his part.

life history »
Calix and Arlo were both born in Rome, Italy. As children, they grew up surrounded by all walks of life and even though they were upper working class, Calix and his sister Marie were sent to a normal public school in the city. It quickly became apparent that he was a serial troublemaker once he hit early to mid-teens, causing fights and general mayhem at any given opportunity.
Whilst this was happening, Arlo was attending an exclusive boy's boarding school halfway across the country, rubbing shoulders with the protégée of the rich and famous. The favouritism was clear, which did nothing to stop Cal's spiral into a vicious circle of alcohol, sex and violence. Even Marie's constant pleading couldn't stop it, although somehow CC managed to graduate from high school - albeit not very well.
Next on the agenda was college, but after a year or so and having slept with most of the university's female population (and possibly some of the male part too, who knows), Calix dropped out and bought a few horses to entertain himself with whilst still living off his parents money. Surprised to find he actually enjoyed the riding, Calix stuck with it despite his 'other' activities and began competing what could be considered seriously by his standards. Arlo found his way into horses too, however rather than an interest in jumping, his younger brother found his place as a racehorse owner - all funded by his own money, of course, just because Cal was still dependent in their parents.
Marie left not long after to fill a high-flying position over in France as the chief of surgery at a renowned hospital in England, and their parents have now decided it's time to kick the two boys out of the nest too (although Arlo hardly counts as 'in' the nest anymore) and bought them both one way tickets to Texas as a result.

personality » Gunner can be difficult sometimes to handle, and goes like a bat out of hell towards a jump regardless of his rider. He has a lot of scope and a lot of speed, which makes him good for jump-offs. He doesn't enjoy being fiddled with and tends to fidget a lot if made to stand for too long.

height » 16h
age » 9
color » Grey
discipline » Broodmare/All-rounder
personality » Monday's plain silly sometimes. She's easily spooked and can be nervy coming into jumps, so needs a confident and relatively experienced rider to handle her safely. However, on the ground she is sweet and loving, and would not hurt a fly.
