The young British millionaire’s name says it all. What do you expect from someone that introduces themselves as “Harper. Burton Alfred Junior. If you insist on calling me anything, it's Alfie.” Particularly when it’s accompanied by a softly Welsh-lilted, Cambridge accent and a $700 suit. He’s somewhat superior, and doesn’t believe a person in his profession can actually have friends - close/older acquaintances and future. People, or so he assumes, must either take an instant dislike to him or be after something. He wouldn’t have it any other way though. He likes his life the way it is. He is civil, generous and humorous, but alongside he is cold and harsh, and may well turn to his oldest and closest acquaintance and stab them in the back if it benefitted him. Not many people realise this until they see it happen. Alfie is not looking for love. He doesn’t believe in love for him, while he may admire it in others, ask him his opinion on it and he will put his cynicism of this eloquently enough but makes it clear that he is not in that business. However, he does see the advantage in family, both from a financial and knowledge background. According to some parents, even if you are positive you could never be a parent or love the small wailing thing something happens, a paternal instinct, that causes you to care and love it. This idea fascinates Alfie. If it doesn’t work out, he can always be a teacher to them, right? Cricket and finance. Specialist subjects.
A cheerful and friendly guy, Murphy, or ‘Stilton’ as he is often know, is a long term resident of Addison having grown up in the town. He’s returned here following three years at university only to find his hometown flooded by newcomers. Back home for a year now, it still astonishes him the number of people he has never met in his life. Many of his old friends are still hanging around, but what with separate work and educations they’ve drifted apart slightly, although he still talks to a few of them, he’s looking for some fresh blood. Enemies would tend to be stemmed from drunken brawls, generally, but sometimes Stilton’s been known to take an immediate dislike for no apparent reason to someone, which could bring about enmity. Lovers, one night stands and bar flirting is really all he’s gotten up to since his last break up. Open for anything, and any plottage, really.
Ali’s an asexual, alcoholic and addict. Got a problem with this, and... well, you can go dunk your head in a vat of sulphuric acid. He’s nicer than that though. While he’s got his problems, can be a complete pig, easily bored and well [see above], he is also a fairly decent friend if one catches him in the right mood or has the patience of a saint. Animosity would probably be the most common result of his encounters. His mood due to his cravings can be volatile and on top of that he holds some bitterness to those who can sustain work, relationships and general life. His family are not his closest friends. Love is a slippery subject. For Ali it’s most likely to pop out where he least expected it.

I’m also up for making a couple of new characters if anyone’s after a particular plot. My specialties are creeps and murderous tendencies with the guise of being perfectly normal (mostly). I find I use male characters more, but I’m cool with making girls too.
