JamesmichaelColburn twenty-five~single~writer/actor/director
Jamie is, to put it lightly, a rich, Hollywood style, first class jackass. He's never had a girlfriend in his life, and he plans on keeping it that way... not to say he doesn't like women, certainly not. Sleeping around is one of his favorite pastimes, right along side drinking nearly to the point of a drunken stupor. He lives a very lavish lifestyle as an actor, television show script/screen writer, and director, which is where his fortunes come from.
He strongly dislikes kids... hates them actually... or at least that's what he tells himself when really he's just afraid of them because he doesn't know what to do with them. In his opinion, affection should only be shown to dogs, cats, and horses... never people, and he lives that out. He is very much at odds with his family after he refused to move back after finding out that his mom was diagnosed with incurable cancer, and didn't even make an appearance at her funeral a year later... really just because he was afraid to face his own emotions, but no one knows that.
Alright so... for Jamie there will obviously be a LOT of past one night stands, most of whom probably hate him, probably quite a few guys who hate him for numerous reasons, a few people who perhaps don't hate him... yet, and maybe a person or two who is determined to thaw his frozen solid heart. He's really hard to be friends with unless you can tolerate someone as self-centered as he is, but he's obviously very easy to hate.
Throw your ideas out there!

Maybe him and Brittanie have crossed paths somewhere along the acting area. She is a model but who says she couldn't be around that scene? What you think? No flings or one night stands thats not what she does. Got any ideas?

Hmmm... maybe she somehow met him when he was around people he wanted to do business with and so was being very gentlemanly like and not like his usual jackass self so she thinks he's a really nice guy or something like that? I'm terrible at plots soooo yeah lol.

maybe we could do something. I suck at plots like you but maybe they meet at the barn, h reacts to his attitude with less than lady like patience. I dunno. I kinda suck too.

Sooooooooo... I finally kinda sorta maybe a little bit have an ideaaaaa... and that would be that somebody needs to either 1. Find out about his mom dying and how he didn't go see her before and didn't go to her funeral and maybe call him out on it or something and get him to finally admit why he did all that sort of thing or 2. somehow break his heart. Yep... those are my two totally lameish ideas...... so run with them or come up with your own

ooo i like the first one and the second one. though she isn't really the heartbreak type. she genuinely cares about people and hates screwing them over {mostly cause she has been screwed over}. maybe they could become acquaintances or friends and he lets slip about his mom dieing and not going to the funeral and they have a fight a week or so later and she calls him out on it. just a thought.

Hm, well the best way to get him to let it slip would be if he was preeeetty darn wasted, so she'd have to run into him at the club or something like that after they get to know each other... and he probably wouldn't remember telling her come morning, so maybe a few days after or whatever she asks him something that involves that and he gets all pissed cause he hates talking about it and that's what sparks the "fight?" Though I have to warn you, he holds grudges for a while so it'd take a bit of time for him to stop being mad at her...

hmm. this could make for interesting stuff. she doesn't care for peoples grudges. she gives as good as she gets. yea she could totally run in to him at a club after they meet. where should they meet though? barn, park, coffee shop?

He doesn't go to the barn very often, he just owns horses for the posterity of it, he's never ridden before. I think maybe the coffee shop would be good.
