she thought, looking around her truck, trying to search for her iPhone. She spotted her phone and grabbed it quickly. She hopped out of her truck and shut the heavy door behind her. Her long nails clicked on the button to lock her truck. After a couple of minutes checking messages and voicemails on her phone, she slid her phone into her pocket and walked towards the barn. As she was walking she stopped to pet a gorgeous Friesian Stallion. "What a beauty you are. You want a carrot?" she said reaching for his big, velvety muzzle. She smiled happily. She has always loved Friesians so much. She didn't buy one because they aren't the best jumpers. Lee could've bought one and did Dressage on one, but Dressage just isn't her passion. She stroked the Stallion once more and started walking towards Squid's spacious stall. She smiled wide the second she saw him. Lee sped up and finally reached Squid's stall. She snapped her fingers and Squid raised his head rapidly from eating hay off of the stall floor. "Hey Squid, how are you?" she said stroking his charming face. After stroking Squid, she grabbed his halter and lead rope hanging on the side rail of his stall door. She slid his stall door open and put his halter on gently. Lee stepped out of his stall and tugged on the lead rope lightly. Both of them continued to walk down to the cross ties. While they were walking down the hall, a bay horse poked his head out of his stall surprisingly. Both Lee and Squid were surprised. Squid pinned his ears and shifted his head rapidly towards the bay. He gave a small buck and a few nips. "CUT IT OUT!" she yelled, whipping Squid on the rump. Squid finally cut it out, he knew that he would have no other choice but to. They continued to stroll down the hall, staying away from any horse that had it's head poked out. Lee put her right hand on his left shoulder and lead him with the other hand. Squid's head lowered as he walked, she tugged at the lead and his head came back up again. Lee didn't want him eating any hay off of the ground. Lee finally saw the cross ties. Before they went into it, she circled him a couple of times, then they finally entered. She hooked the cross ties onto his halter and tossed the lead rope on the ground. She grabbed her tack box and grabbed the hoof pick. She picked all of the dirt and pebbles out of his hooves, then she moved onto the curry comb and got all of the loose hair out of his pelt. When she finished currying his pelt, she tossed the curry comb into her tack box and grabbed the hard bristled brush, and the soft bristled brush. She started to brush him with the hard brush on both sides of his body, then she moved onto the soft brush. When she finished with that she put her tack box away, and grabbed her expensive tack. Off she went with tacking him up. The saddle was finally on his back. She moved onto the girth and hooked it onto him, of course he tried to nip at her while she was putting it on. Once she got his girth on, she moved to the bridle, which was much easier then the saddle, thankfully. She slipped the bridle on and took off his halter which was hanging on his neck. Lee then unhooked the cross ties. She then started to walk towards the indoor arena. When they reached the arena, she put her helmet on, and mounted at the mounting steps. When she mounted Squid started to walk automatically. While he walked towards the arena, Lee held onto the reins with on hand, and adjusted her stirrups with the other. They entered the arena, and Lee got a bit more organized while walking on the soft dirt. Squid snorted and looked around the arena, but Lee shifted the left rein to the left, keeping his head straight. After about 5 minutes of walking, Lee moved into the rising trot. Squid's head was level, and his trot was energetic. As Lee went up her heels went down, and as she went down her heels went up. Her trainer in Korea taught her that because it's always good to have rhythm in your legs as well. Lee lengthened the reins and Squid's head lowered, and his trot extended. Squid has one of the smoothest trots, smoother then most horses. After they trotted for about 10 minutes, she pulled the reins lightly and moved him back into a working walk. Squid snorted once more, while they were walking. The trotting wore him out. Lee could feel him breathing hard beneath her. She reached out her hand and gave him a big pat on the neck. Lee looked around the arena and saw a 3'6 oxer on the diagonal. Squid transitioned from the walk into the canter. Lee switched to her half-seat. It was a perfect half-seat, since she has been riding ever since she was 8 years old, so no wonder her half-seat was so good. After 5 minutes of cantering, she formed a figure 8 while going around the whole arena. "It sure is nice to have a horse that has flying changes" she thought, while cantering towards the oxer on the diagonal. Lee got prepared for the jump and sat in the saddle, she shortened her reins and the second Squid took off, she got into position, a very good position that is. Squid has taken off a bit too early, but it was better then taking off late. Since Squid landed on the wrong lead he did his flying lead change and followed Lee's direction. They went around the arena in the same direction again. Lee turned Squid toward the jump again and got into position when he took off, this time he took off at the perfect distance from the jump. She gave him a big pat and slowed down to the trot, then finally the walk. "Let's take a breather buddy" she said sighing happily. Word Count; No idea. Status; Done! Notes; LOOONNNNNGGGG, and not very creative. [/ul]

Walking lazily along the stalls, Jaimy finally picked out his big bay stallion. He smiled at the horse, as he looked through the bars at his master eagerly, sniffing for treats. Jaimy held out a carrot for the horse. He was a ten year old German Warmblood, imported at four years old. Jaimy had bought him after he had graduated, and had been training the stallion as a dressage horse and hunter. He wasn't necessarily the build for a hunter, but he was pretty good at it. He was a beautiful horse, and prided himself on the way he moved. Jaimy opened the stall door, and slipped the horses leather halter over his face. Happily content with his carrot, he allowed himself to be lead out of the stall. Jaimy almost laughed at the seventeen hand stallion. The expression on his face, his happy, slobbery chewing on the carrot made the large, generally intimidating stallion look very much like a foal. He was really a big teddy bear on the inside, and would crawl right into your lap if he could. That is, if he knows you. However, this teddy bear behavior did not last long, and Polaris's head shot up as the other horses looked curiously at this newcomer. Polaris raised his tail, and snorted, eying the other horses suspiciously. "Get a life Polaris," Jaimy said as he rolled his eyes, and gave a quick jerk of the halter, as the stallion had stopped by a stall, and fiercly started pawing the air; staring down the fourteen hand pony on the other side of the door. The pony whinnied defiantly and shrilly, making the big, bravado stallion jump.
Once they had cleared the barn, Jaimy quickly tied up his horse, and tacked him up. he was not in the mood for jumping, so he threw a pelham on his stallion and the sleek dressage saddle. Jaimy wasn't in the mood for navigating a double bridle. he lead the stallion over towards the large indoor arena, and patted the horse as he looked around, slightly anxious. Jaimy found himself humming quietly, as he hopped easily onto his horse. He walked in the arena to see a girl jump a fairly large oxer. Jaimy guessed it was around three foot six. Polaris was a jumper bred stallion, and could probably jump four feet, but Jaimy rarely took the horse over three foot three. As the girl stopped, Jaimy nodded at her.
For a few minutes, the pair walked, Jaimy encouraging Polaris to stretch his head down, putting the big warmblood into a hunter type frame. Jaimy always noticed that hunters were always the most well stretched, so this was how he warmed up. After walking, Jaimy asked his horse for a working trot. The stallion did this, head tucked neatly. Then, Jaimy asked his horse to extend his trot. Polaris did so with gusto, stretching out, moving almost at the speed of a canter. They sped across the diagonal, and then, Jaimy asked Polaris to canter. He loved his horse's rocking-horse like canter. The stallion was bunched up like a coiled spring, Jaimy could feel the energy coursing through the stallion. He smiled, and asked him to extend his canter. Polaris flew gracefully down the long side of the arena, and after a few moments, Jaimy asked him to walk.
He glanced again at the other rider. He wondered how long she had been here, then, he turned a wide circle, making his way cautiously over in the direction of the other rider. Keeping his distance, he looked at her. "He good with other horses?" Jaimy asked. It wouldn't hurt to meet some people.
muse; pretty good notes; looooong (for me, lol)

she thought while narrowing her eyes, to see the horse better. Lee's phone rang and Squid quickly moved into the trot, because the phone had spooked him. "Shhh, it's okay buddy, it's okay" she murmured softly. Lee reached for his neck and rubbed it gently, trying to calm him down. Squid moved back into a working walk and they both continued to look at the two that had entered the arena. After walking around the entire arena a couple of times, they moved into an extended trot. Squid's head was level and Lee rose in the trot. Her hands were steady and her rhythm was perfect. Squid's extended trot was very elegant and smooth. It's almost like he is floating. Lee reached for his neck to give him a pat once more, praising him for following her commands without hesitation. When they got closer to the Stallion, she pressed again him with her outside leg, and shifted him with her inside rein, going further away from the horse and rider. Lee was just being cautious, the last thing she wanted was for them to get into a fight. They had finally passed them and they continued on with their extended trot energetically. When they finished trotting, Lee sat in her seat and squeezed with her legs. Her spurs pressed against Squid's sides, causing him to move into a slow, steady canter. She praised him and moved into her half seat. She looked ahead at the horse and rider and performed what she did last time she passed them. Lee did it successfully and praised him again. Usually Lee always praises Squid when he does something good. They continued on with their canter, and after a couple rounds of cantering, they changed direction and continued on in the opposite direction, performing the same routine. After a couple round of doing that, she pulled on the reins and sat down in her saddle, signaling Squid to move into the walk, so he did. Lee gave him a big, loud pat for being so well behaved. They then rested before they started to jump again. Minutes passed once again and Lee shifted her head to the left, she saw the Stallion and his rider coming their way. They looked like they were going to greet her and Squid, so she accepted it. Lee tightened the reins and kept pressure on them, keeping a close eye on the Stallion. She smiled and Squid's ears perked out of curiosity. Lee listened carefully to what the man had said and she replied "Yeah, he's generally good with other horses. Just keep a good distance." She smiled at the man and asked him "What is your name? I'm Lee Hyori, call me Lee or Ji." She reached her hand out to his hand and attempted to shake his hand, but the distance was too far, so she reached her hand back. Lee blushed of embarrassment. Usually she gets embarrassed quite easily. Notes; I've got a good muse today! [/ul]

Jaimy smiled to conceal his laughter when she stuck out her hand. Oh, he knew the gesture. The embarrassment. Polaris tossed his head in boredom, and Jaimy ignored the stupid horse. To cover up the awkwardness of the moment, Jaimy stuck out his own hand, grabbed a fistful of air, and shook it, in a light, joking way. "I've done that way too many times myself," he said in a friendly manner. "My name is James Springer, but I go by Jaimy." He said lightly. He dropped his hand and looked at the horse. He was big, like Polaris, possibly even bigger. A handsome stallion, and it seemed he had a nice disposition.
"Nice horse you got there, what breed is he?" he asked casually. Jaimy wasn't generally the most social person on earth, but at the moment, he was so relaxed, so happy, it was nice to make some conversation. He could tell that she was embarrassed, and was trying to say it didn't bother him by changing the subject. He wondered why he was so relaxed, he should be stressed out. He had three racehorses that hadn't been ridden in a week due to the move, and he needed to find them exercise riders, and fast. They were young, and needed the work. Blackbird was showing enormous potential and he wanted to keep in shape. He just needed a rider. He would have to ask around the barn, see if he could get anyone.
However, these thoughts did bother him, and he decided that he needed a break from work, so he pushed these thoughts to the very back of his mind, and turned his attention back to Lee.
muse; bad notes; ugg, im writing short today.

L E E H Y O R I she told him, while her eyebrows raised in happiness. Lee reached her hand down to give him a stroke on the neck gently, trying to calm him down more, since he was standing by a Stallion. Lee didn't want a fight to go on with the horses, that's the last thing she needs. "He is a Dutch Warmblood. Their great breeds to have" she explained to him, using her hands as she was speaking. Her hair blew in the breeze. What a nice breeze it was, just the right speed and just the right temperature. So far Lee was having quite a good day, since she is riding well and her horse isn't behaving like a straight up asshole. Sometimes her horse does act like one, mostly when it's a cold day though, but luckily it was sunny and warm. Lee has always enjoyed sunny days with her horse, riding happily along the trails. She hasn't gone on a trail ride with Squid for awhile now, but she has been very busy lately, she's been trying to apply for a job, but nobody will except her. The only job that they considered her for was a bar tender, but she doesn't want to be hit on by a bunch of perverts and ugly guys. No offense to all the ugly guys out there, but offense to all the pervert's out there. One time Lee almost got raped by an old man, but luckily she was in an alley by a police station, so she was safe since there was a police officer standing outside of that building. Word Count; No idea. Notes; Regular post, not very long. =P[/ul]

Jaimy smiled when she said her horse was a dutch warmblood. It did not surprise him. They were fantastic horses. He himself was sitting on a German Warmblood stallion, which was also a great breed of horse as well. He smiled at her, and decided to let the fact that she had now introduced herself twice go. It didn't seem like she was an overly social person. Well, he generally wasn't either. For a few moments, it seemed as though she was lost in her own world, and so he sat back and sighed. It was a wonderful, peaceful day.
He noticed the other stallion's behavior, and moved away a little more. He felt his horse shiver with energy, his right ear turned towards the other horse, and he stroked the stallion soothingly. Polaris was a wimp. He wouldn't fight the other horse, but he would try and intimidate him. Of course, that could lead to the other horse lashing out, and then it would be all over for Polaris. He would rear up and scream, and probably be barreled over and then he would sit in his stall and sulk for weeks on end.
Jaimy wasn't making this up either. This had happened to the horse before. The poor devil had gotten a glorious collection of bite marks, and a wicked kick wound in his hock that had rendered him useless for two weeks. However, he did not believe that they would have a fight now, as Polaris was lazy and the other horse seemed pretty even tempered. "What discipline are you in?" he asked conversationally.
muse; kinda bad but ok notes;
