Tony went to the park to have a little picnic with himself. Not only was the park a great place to have a cigarette or two but there were always hotties running in yoga pants. Maybe it was a little inappropriate but it wasn't like he was a pervert. They were running with pants on that could pass for underwear so they were asking to be looked at in Tony's opinion. If they didn't, they would dress more modestly. In Tony's mind, he was just giving them what they wanted because he was such a nice person.
He say down at one of the picnic benches and took his sandwich out of the lunch box that he had brought with him. It was a ham and cheese sandwich and it was yummy. He was wearing dark washed jeans, black cowboy boots and aviator sunglasses today. He also had a leather jacket to keep him warm. He didn't think it could get cold in Texas but apparently it could. He had been living here for a while and had made a few friends and a few enemies but it was a good life here.
When he was half way done with his sandwich, a short brunette who looked like someone off of Jersey Shore, ran by. Tony's eyes gazed after her as she ran by. His sunglasses covered his eyes so it wasn't easy to tell exactly what he was looking at. That was the wonder behind sunglasses. Tony had picked up that trick a few years back from some guy.
When his sandwich was finished, he just threw the bag that it was in back into his lunch box. He then went back to "people watching" as he called it. He didn't have to work until later. It was wonderful being a bartender. He could have the whole day to himself and then play all night. Damn it was great to be the king.

Rhiannon hadn't exactly had the best of weeks, which was why she found herself in the park. It was warmish today, so she'd figured she may as well come and soak up some sun while she decided whether or not to move back to England. The park was busy when she arrived, causing Rhia to veer off the paths snaking through it and find herself a patch of grass in the shade to flop underneath. It wasn't that she didn't like large crowds of people, it was just a lot easier to think when you weren't constantly getting distracted by snippets of passerby's conversations.
Pulling a book out of her bag, the blonde settled her back against the tree and extended her legs out in front of her. Winter it may be, but it was warm enough to be wearing shorts and Rhia was never one to miss an opportunity like that when she came from a permanently rainy country. In fact, she loved days like today - it was sunny and bright but not hot enough that she had to worry about burning her naturally fair skin. The Brit untangled her earphones as she read, using her fingers to feel and work out the knots instead of just putting the book down for a second - she liked to be busy, even if it sometimes meant she was a little bit too busy for her own good. That said, she still didn't have a job and to be honest she didn't exactly need one either. The modelling back home had made her enough money so that she could live extremely comfortably for at least the next few years or so before her finances became even the slightest bit strained. It might be good to find one though, if she decided to stay, even if it was just a means by which to meet some new people and settle into Addison a little better than she had.
Sure, Addison was nice and all, but it still wasn't really home...mainly because Rhiannon actually hadn't made much of an effort to go out and make herself a new group of friends and do all the things that made a place worth staying in. Half of her stuff was still in boxes in her garage for Christ's sake...something that would probably need fixing soon. Putting her earbuds in and pressing the play button on her iPod, Rhia pushed everything out of her head for a while, made herself comfortable and settled down to read, ignoring the activity in the rest of the park.
