Hands shoved into pockets, Orion walked alone through the mall, making his way towards the food court, where he was meant to be meeting his best friend besides Milo, Tori. He enjoyed these days, meeting up with her and just enjoying a day at the mall. Sometimes Milo would come too, though today he didn’t even know where his friend was. Today was to be only him and Tori. As he reached the large food court, he surveyed the area and didn’t see Tori anywhere near the table they generally met at. He walked over and sat at it, watching the people line up in front of fast food restaurants, listening to the bustle and the voices collectively filling the room. People going about their daily life.
In his pocket, he had his Flip video camera, of course. He always kept some means of recording with him, and the Flip was portable and simple. He sighed, spinning side to side, as far as the seat attached to the table allowed. He was a bit hungry, but figured he’d wait for Tori, so they could get something to eat together.
Tori was his closest female friend, and was the only one who knew his secret. The one in which he’s been in love with Milo since they were nine. He tapped his fingers on the table, still spinning. Milo and him had been friends since age seven or eight. When they moved away from home, they became roommates. Though they were hardly ever apart before then.
He loved going to the mall or just anywhere with Tori: They’d talk about their lives, he could pick out clothing for her, and it was just a lot of fun. She was the only one he could speak to about Milo, too. She was the only one he’d technically come out to as gay, as well. Everyone in his life except seemingly Milo just assumed it of him, correctly, but he’d only said it straight out to her. He checked his phone, noticing that he was a few minutes earlier than he’d thought he was. Deciding he was bored of sitting, Orion rose to his feet, walking around between the rows of tables in the court, keeping an eye out for her.

Tori checked the time on her phone to see that it was almost time that seh was supposed to meet Orion at the mall. Tori had known Orion since him and his friend Milo moved to the USA. They had become almost best friend instantly, sharing each others deep dark secrets, like the fact that Orion was secretly deeply in love with Milo, but Milo had no idea. It seemed quite obvious to Tori that Milo was gay too but he never would admit it, especially around Milo.
Tori searched her room desperately for the top that she wanted to wear, it was a cute white top that was tight at the top and sort of fluffed out at the bottom, along with a pair of black skinny jeans, her black boots and a black vest. She run her fingers through her hair wondering what she had done with that dang shirt. She sighed before running to her brothers room. Camryn often took Tori's clothes for no apparent reason, and sure enough there it was in his closet. What was it with Camryn? Did he have some secret obsession with dressing like a girl? She laughed quietly to herself before rushing out the door.
Tori was genuinely shy around people but around Orion and Milo she was loud and crazy, and probably slightly annoying, course she was like that around all her friends that she had known for awhile. And Orion seemed to bring out her inner crazy.
She arrived at the mall and hopped out of her cute little 84 camaro that her brother fixed for her. She loved it so much, it was black with lime green racing stripes with a black light underglow which made anyone wearing neon colors shine when she drove by at night. Even with her pretty little suped up car, she much loved her truck.
She rushed inside and saw Orion walking between the isles awkwardly. She giggled before walking up behind him and poking his sides and flashing him a large smile. "Hey muffin! How are you!" she said looking around. "Im starving lets get something to eat!" she said in her generally hyper voice as she bounded off towards the Chinese food stand. She ordered and sat down at one of the tables motioning for Orion to sit down.
"So have you told him yet?"

Orion was beginning to worry that perhaps he had the time wrong or something, he hadn’t often been the one to arrive first when meeting up with Tori. Just as he was about to take out his phone to double check his texts, he jumped forward, yelping in surprise, spinning around, a hand clutching his chest, gasping for breath in his surprised state. He was pretty easily startled. When he saw who it was, he rolled his eyes and proceeded to laugh, composing himself enough to shove his phone back into his pocket and trail her towards the Chinese food stand.
He ordered himself some fried rice, and then followed Tori to the table she’d selected, sliding in across from her and raising his brow at her question, shaking his head somewhat sadly. ”What do you think?” He said, offering a dramatic pout. ”It’s not exactly easy, I can’t just sit there and go ‘Yeah, so, Milo, remember when we were nine? Well, I’ve loved you since then.’” He said sarcastically, shaking his head once again, in disbelief that he could’ve ever told Milo.
Sure, he wanted to tell Milo all the time. Milo and him were very close, and Orion wasn’t about to risk anything by explaining to Milo how much he loved it when they were in close proximity to each other, or how many times he’d been tempted to kiss him. There were a lot of those times, but Orion wasn’t nearly brave enough to actually kiss Milo. ”I don’t know if I’ll ever tell him, really. I want to, but what if he likes girls, anyways?” he said, and then snapped his head up, smiling. ”But this is depressing stuff. How about you, anyone in your life since the last time we spoke?” He asked. Normally they communicated every day, but he’d been a bit busy until now, and wanted to catch up on her life, as well.

Tori looked at him sympathetically and tried to force a smile on her face. It was so tragic and killed her daily that the two weren't already together and living happily ever after like a freaking fairy tail, which is what she always thought of when she watched them. It was like watching a story from a book, they were so perfect together and neither of them ever stopped smiling when around one another, sure Milo was sort of obnoxious and slightly mean to Orion sometimes, like hitting him if the face with random fluffy animals. Or just always putting Orion down but in a funny way, course orion did bring it on himself sometimes, even Tori could admit that Orion was a derp sometimes.
She reached over and grabbed his hand. "I'm sure he is thinking the same thing about you hun" she said putting a reassuring smile on her face to try and cheer him up. When he asked if she had met anyone her mind automatically crossed to the boy she had met at the park. She couldn't help but let that cute little smirk cross over her face.
"Actually there is. His name is Levi, I only just met him but oh gosh! Orion hes so amazing and handsome ,and super sweet! And he has the two cutest dogs on the planet! But gosh hes got beautiful eyes, and a handsome face, and his personality, hes kind of hyper just like me, but no quite as much." She realized she was rambling so she stopped herself blushing.
What about you, besides Milo, whats new in your life hun?" It had been awhile since she had seen her best guy friend, well of course Tori didnt really have many friends that were girls, girls were just to much dang drama. Guys were always a better company to her, especially Orion, he had always been there for her, even in the short amount of time they had known each other, Tori considered him her closest friend.

Oh, how Orion wished that Milo was thinking the same thing as he was. That’d be a dream come true. Multiple dreams, in fact. That boy was always on Orion’s mind, often even when he was sleeping. He’d come to America with Milo not just because he wasn’t about to lose his love to another country, but he didn’t even know a life in which he wasn’t with Milo. He remembered one time he’d went to his grandmother’s and stayed for an entire month of a summer in middle school. Even then, he was barely able to function without Milo. He wasn’t just his best friend, he was the most important thing in his life.
He chuckled, looking down and shaking his head regretfully ”I doubt it. I mean, I wish, but… Yeah, probably not.” He muttered, his eyes clouding up for a moment before he forced joy back into his expression, he didn’t drop her hand, didn’t see reason to. He liked the friendship he had with Tori.
Sometimes Orion wondered what it was like to start to like someone. The way that Tori was so excited about this Levi, and the little things she knew about him, the obvious desire to know more. He’d never known that, because he’d fallen for his best friend when they were kids, and he couldn’t recall any time that his sights changed, even briefly. Sure, he’d found other people attractive, but he’d never wanted to be with anyone if it wasn’t Milo.
He smiled as she rambled on, making a weird face at the mention of dogs. He liked dogs, but was very much so a cat person. ”Hmm. I’ll have to meet him to know if I approve.” He gave a teasing wink. He was pretty protective over Tori, and felt the need to make sure that Levi would treat her right and all, but that could wait until Tori got to know him better. He wasn’t too worried about Levi not liking her or anything. If he were straight, even he’d go for Tori, she was gorgeous and hilarious. ”New in my life? Nothing is ever new in my life.” he laughed, though it was kind of sad how true that was. He basically existed simply to make videos and spend as much time as humanly possible with Milo.

Tori loved to just sit back and watch Milo and Orion. They were always so perfect and adorable. It was pretty much always obvious to everyone else but themselves that they were deeply in love with each other. Even if neither of them knew it about each other, its was clear they belonged together. The way both of their faces lit up when they saw each other and the way they could talk for hours, even if sometimes they made Tori feel like a third wheel, she knew its was just purely innocent and not actually done on purpose.
Tori saw Orions eyes start to cloud over. Its was crazy how much one person could love another. The girl could only wish for a love like Orion felt for Milo. She looked at him and shot him a comforting smile. "Ri Ri dont be upset. Please? I can almost guarantee that god put both of you in this world only to love each other, and I'm sure Milo can see that, he might just be as scared as you are about telling you?" she said looking at him still.
The girl stood up, her short self standing quite smaller than Orion. She pulled on his hand." Come on!! Cheer up and help me find some new boots!"She said with her cute crooked smile and her little giggle before she began to skip through the mall. Not caring about the awkward looks she was gaining from the fellow people walking through the mall.
