TYLER FRANCIS WYLDE ~Take Your Records Take Your Freedom~ The early morning sun had crept its way onto the earth's surface as Ty stepped out into the air, his truck a little higher than most. His dull, icy colored orbs scanned the white coated terrain and he kicked his heel lightly as he approached the trailer, his black cowboy boots scuffed the ground lightly and the small chime of his spurs with each step. Ty didn't use spurs to abuse the horse, the spurs were basically a reminder for Ratchet to listen to his simple commands. Ty placed his hand on the top of his black leather cowboy hat, adjusting it atop his head, his dark brown locks a slight mess underneath. Ty was making his way toward the back and a sharp clash of steel to hoof was made as a frustrated grunt escaped the small windows, with a grin Ty patted the side of the trailer " Calm down Ratchet, Its me"
With that, Ty adjusted the black and dark gray plaid shirt, the white muscle shirt underneath tucked in the front. A pair of baggy, light washed jeans with a few holes here and there was what he had chosen to wear today. Even though it wasn't exactly warm outside, Ty wasn't worried about the cold. Stepping into the trailer, Ratchet turned his head to look at Tyler, the stallion's ears perked and he pawed the trailer floor in anticipation. Clipping the simple black and white lead rope to the worn black halter on the stallions face, the extra padding on the nose helping the stallion to focus, similar to what that use on young race horses. Backing the stallion out slowly he then tied him to the side of the trailer, grabbing a soft brush to just dust him off, knowing Ratchet enjoyed cold weather, Ty wasn't in any rush to shove him in a stall. After the stallion was completely dusted off, Ty started to comb out the stallion's long mane, that fell just over his whither's.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ~Take your Memories I Don't Need'em~

Lilliana's truck rumbled as she pulled in the driveway of the barn. She didn't have the nicest truck, but it got her where she needed to go. Lilly parked it and noticed an unfamiliar trailer. The barn had new people coming in everyday, so it wasn't strange. She had to feed her horses, get them out of their stalls and exercise them. Her day was filled with stuff she needed to do. She really didn't need to be distracted by someone new. Although, she was fairly new herself. She had only been at the barn for a little while. Lilly's mare was still nervous about being around other horses, and spooked at every thing. The blonde worried about her, but she knew eventually the mare would settle down. On the other hand, her gelding was settling in quite nicely. As Lilly walked by the trailer, she noticed a very attractive man with a gorgeous horse. She figured she had some spare time to introduce herself to the man. But she also didn't want to spook his horse. Wouldn't that be a great way to introduce herself? She walked towards the barn, figuring she could at least groom Melody before she introduced herself. He looked busy anyways. She remembered her first day at the barn, and how chaotic that was. Some girl lost control of her horse and it went storming into the parking lot. Lilly had been snapped at by the girl, for just trying to help her up. But all in all, Lilly had also made a new friend that day. Not the girl that lost her horse, but one that had helped catch the horse. She gave a smile to the man as she headed into the barn, and a friendly wave to him. She would get back to that man in a little bit. Unless, of course, he approached her first. Lilliana walked towards her mare's stall first. Melody was pacing the stall, her nervousness affecting some of the other horses in the barn. Lilly opened the stall door quickly, and walked in. She grabbed the mare's halter and stroked her nose. The mare calmed down slowly and breathed out her nose. "Shh...Mel, it's okay," Lilly soothed. Melody stuck her nose towards the girl and snorted. Lilly laughed and left the stall to get the grooming kit. As she walked past the stalls to get the grooming kit, her gelding Arrow stuck his head over his stall to get some attention from her. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a treat and allowed the gelding to eat from her hand. He whinnied at her as she walked away, as if begging her for more treats. TYLER FRANCIS WYLDE ~Take Your Records Take Your Freedom~ A low rumble of another truck seemed to catch Ratchet's attention as his head perked and his gaze was transfixed on that machine. The driver who had stepped out however made Ty almost drop the comb. As if on purpose, Ratchet leaned his head down to nudge Ty's shoulder, as if telling him to go talk. Grinning, Ty scratched the stallions nose and whispered with his deep country sort of accent Now Ratchet ... I need to give the pretty lady her space Tyler's husky tone ran into the stallions ear like honey and Ratchet could only snort lightly and lower his head slightly. Ty had been just glancing up from the stallion's neck when he saw her throw him a cheeky smile and a small wave. What was she up to? With that in mind, Ty left Ratchet tied to the trailer, knowing he wouldn't try anything and he started to move the grooming kit and the western bridle into the tack room, although he wasn't planning on seeing her.
As he stepped in the tack room, a few stalls down he caught the last little snip of her rewarding a horse. Her horse? Ty found his locker and hung his every-day western bridle on the hook closest to him, placing his show bridle in the back. He then sorted through his little things, brushes, shampoo, conditioner, hoof polish, bug spray and the stallion's blankets. FINALLY when he was finished he was just heading out the door when she was coming in, Don't you just hate when you are trying to go around that person and then you meet them in a small space and you have to do that fancy dance to get around one another? With a light chuckle, Ty tipped his hat and gave her a sly grin as he then slid around her and continued walking, the light chime of his spurs echoed down the hall as he then headed back out into the cold, grasping Ratchets lead and bringing the stallion into the main hall, Ty halted the stocky brute and bent down to feel his legs, making sure there was no tension from the long drive. Ty smirked and gave the stallion a big pat on the shoulder I worry to much about you Ratchet With that Ty clucked Ratchet into a walk and he then halted again outside the tack room and tapped on the door Hello Miss, Sorry I didn't say anything when we had our little fancy dance here in the doorway, I needed to get this guy inside before he got to bored and fell asleep on me... I'm Tyler but people call me Ty .. Or wylde if you must
Flashing her the same sly grin as he tipped his hat once more to her, Ratchet pawed at the concrete floor and Ty turned to tap the stallions nose with his finger lightly Stop that you brute Scratching the stallion's nose as he then turned to look back at her, hoping he hadn't scared her off.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ~Take your Memories I Don't Need'em~

Lilliana watched the man go into the tack room out of the corner of her eye. She didn't want to follow him in, so she decided to wait a little bit. Arrow snorted at her and buried his head into her chest as she stood outside his stall door. The gelding was friendly and anxious to be out of his stall. Lilly would probably have to exercise him last, because he was the calmer of the two. After a ride on Melody, riding Arrow would be relaxing. Melody wasn't a bad ride, she just spooked more often than most horses. Someone had to be paying attention in order to ride Melody properly. Which was why Lilly didn't allow other people to ride the mare. She didn't want to be considered liable if they were bucked off by the mare because she spooked. A simple movement could set the mare off, or even something that wasn't normal for her to see. Especially in a new place, Melody spooked more often than not. Lilliana walked into the tack room, sliding around the man as he walked out. They did a slight dance, but it wasn't too bad. Lilly opened up her locker and pulled out her grooming kit for Melody. She had two different ones specified for each horse. It was a bit OCD, but it helped groom the horses a little better. She walked out of the tack room and headed to Melody's stall. "Hey there again, pretty girl," she cooed, and slipped into the stall with the mare. She began to brush the mare, her thoughts lost in the motions. Melody was a great horse for an experienced rider. And she was getting better about spooking, but the move to Addison really didn't help her. The loud noises of the barn, with new faces everyday, made the mare nervous. It was too much energy and not enough room to move around. When Melody got nervous, she liked to run. And didn't stop very often. Once Lilly was done grooming the mare, she headed back into the tack room. She placed everything back into her locker, and heard a knock at the door. The girl was confused, because all areas of the barn were open to pretty much everyone. She looked around and found the man she had seen earlier in the doorway, holding the lead of the gorgeous horse. "Hey, no problem," she said, giving him a small smile. "Dances happen around this barn so often, I don't even think of it anymore." Lilly brushed back her bangs out of her face as he introduced himself. Ty. What a common name. "Nice to meet you, Ty. I'm Lilliana," she said, extending her free hand. "Call me Lilly, though." Shaking hands was a normal thing for her. It was the way she greeted everyone around her. His stallion seemed impatient as he tapped the ground, and Lilly laughed slightly. She had her own impatient horses waiting. [/ul] Tagged; Tyler Wylde Words; 495. TYLER FRANCIS WYLDE ~Take Your Records Take Your Freedom~ When she turned, and spoke Ty was more than delighted when she said it hadn't been a problem that he had left. Ty then felt a firm nudge to his shoulder and grinned when he turned to look at Ratchet, who was now head high and ears perked, eyes on the new human standing in the doorway. Ty smiled as she spoke again, so dances happened often? Ah geez, he would need to get used to that. Ty nodded and put his hand that was holding the lead line on the stallion's whither's. When she introduced herself and held out her hand he took it and then put his free hand in his pocket This is Ratchet .. I couldn't help but notice you earlier with the bay over there.. He yours?
Ty couldn't keep his curiosity to himself, he needed to know. As he then stopped leaning on the brute and backed away from the door, slowly starting to walk Ratchet up the hall, in the direction of the bay's stall. Glancing at the stalls as he walked along and when they finally reached the bay's stall, Ty's eyes wandered across the hall and there, straight across from the bay was Ratchets stall, all set up and ready for him. Ty gave the stallion a pat on the neck This place is a little fancier than back home isn't it boy? The stallion snorted and then Ty led him into the stall and turned him to face the stall door, unclipping the lead rope and sliding out into the hall, sliding the stall door shut and locking it behind him. Ty then turned back to the girl Oh .. Are busy? Ty then opened the window on the stall door and Ratchet quickly turned to stick his head out, nickering to the nearest horses, Ty placed a palm over his face and sighed I have a social butterfly, If you cant tell Chuckling lightly, Ty stroked the horses forehead and waited for her response.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ~Take your Memories I Don't Need'em~

Her two horses and her two dogs were her life. She competed with the horses and if she could, she would compete with her dogs as well. Well, at least with her puppy, Sasha. Lola was a mutt, so most shows wouldn't accept her anyhow. It was strange how you could show a crossbreed of horses, but not a crossbreed of dogs. She found mutts to be more intelligent than some purebreds. Lilly competed in both English and Western competitions with her horses. Broken Arrow was a western horse, quick on his feet and fast to get around the barrels. She could do pretty much anything with her gelding and he'd be game for it. Lilly was almost pretty sure she could get the gelding to at least go over a beginner's jump and he wasn't even trained in English. Arrow was her favorite of the two horses, but Melody was talented in her own ways. Melody was trained in English, and when she was in the arena, she could block out pretty much everything. Her jumps were good, her dressage and hunting skills. Lilly didn't know what she would do without her mare. Even though she was a pain, the black Arabian was something special. Lilliana looked over at Tyler as he spoke and she nodded. His bay was named Ratchet. After the video game Ratchet and Clank, she wondered. It was one of her favorite games of all time. Besides Jak and Daxter, of course. But those were old games that not very many people knew of anymore. All of the video games were more oriented towards Call of Duty or some Just Dance game. But it didn't matter anyways. Lilly didn't get a chance to play video games very often anymore. She loved being around the animals, and when she wasn't around her own, she worked at the animal shelter to help out the rescues. As Tyler pointed out her bay thoroughbred, Lilly nodded. "Yeah, the bay is mine, along with black Arabian in the stall next to him. Arrow is my Thoroughbred and Melody is my Arabian," she said, introducing her horses to the gorgeous man. But her measly two horses was nothing compared to some people here. She knew of at least one girl who owned six horses on her own. Lilliana couldn't do that on her own. She would need a lot of help. But the stable hands around here also helped out quite a bit. Lilly turned back to the mare and stroked her nose. She turned around as the man spoke. "I have to exercise the horses, but you can join me if you'd like," she said, giving the man a small smile. "A social butterfly isn't a bad thing." Lilly smiled at him, and brushed her bangs out of her face. [/ul] Tagged; Tyler Wylde Words; 470. TYLER FRANCIS WYLDE ~Take Your Records Take Your Freedom~ The large black stallion nibbled lightly on the slightly baggy plaid shirt as Ty nodded to Lilly. The girl seemed like a sweet person so what could possibly go wrong. Ty looked toward the horses across the hall as she introduced them. The gelding was a good looking animal but Ty's eyes couldn't help wandering back to the bouncy Arabian, the delicately dished face and the soft eyes able to catch his eye from a country mile. Ty grinned and patted Ratchet on the neck and cleared his throat, the stallion obviously knew that he was being spoken about so the stallion perked his ears and held his head high, as if proud of himself. Ty sighed and shook his head This here is the only horse I have, I rescued him from slaughter when he was three
Ratchet snorted and nudged Ty's hat, Grinning Ty took the hat and playfully rubbed it on the stallion's nose. As the woman spoke again, Ty returned his hat to his head and listened intently. She wanted him to join her? hmm. As she made the comment about social butterfly's, Ty couldn't help but chuckle and shake his head This butterfly has trust issues .. He wants to socialize but he sometimes gets bad impression's and he gets a little aggressive, typical for a stallion to be aggressive Ty grinned as he then thought back to when he first got Ratchet, the night before he had been playing Ratchet and Clank .. So thats what he decided to call the brute, was Ratchet. Ty then nodded and grasped the lead rope again and slid open the stall door to clip the halter to the lead and turn to face her Sure I'll join you, A good way for us to see the place Ty then lead the stallion out and clipped him to the cross ties, turning him to face the other cross ties. Ty had just groomed the stallion so he just left to grab his tack and the hoof pick. As Ty placed the lime green saddle pad onto Ratchets whither's and then followed it with the black western saddle, tightening the girth a little and then putting the simple, black western bridle on the stallion's large head, the bit sliding under his tongue effortlessly. Ty unclipped the cross ties and took the halter off from around the stallions neck and hung it on the stall door, walking Ratchet up and back down the hall to stretch out his legs and let him relax, halting to tighten the girth all the way now that the stallion had relaxed. Slaughter houses were terrible. Horses were brutally murdered and neglected for purposes unknown to the blonde. She had never personally rescued a horse, but she knew people that had. Lilly usually rescued dogs and cats from shelters, but had never rescued a horse. Although, it was on her to do list. She just didn't have much time for a neglected horse at the moment. Getting the horse to allow riders would be hard as well. The majority of the horses there had either never been rode, or rode so hard they were abused. They had trust issues and needed more attention and time. Yet, it would be worth it to save a life. Maybe once she got more time, she'd be able to rescue a horse. And this man was amazing for being able to dedicate his time to the stallion and rescue him. The horse looked in great shape, even. "You're amazing for rescuing him," Lilliana said, admiringly. She gave the man a small smile, and spoke again. "I've got those two babies and then two more babies, my dogs, at home," she said. Her animals were her life. She couldn't do anything without at least one of them at her side, the majority of the time. If she could, Lilly would take her dogs into restaurants with her. They were well behaved animals, and usually didn't get into stuff. There was that rare occasion though, but one was just a puppy and the other wasn't much older than a puppy. They liked to get into stuff when the blonde left it sitting out for them, but that didn't happen very often. One bag of Doritos down, and there was plastic and chips all scattered throughout her home. She didn't make that mistake again. "I can imagine trust issues. Slaughter houses suck," Lilly said, looking at her mare. She couldn't decide which horse she should take out. Her gelding is a better horse to ride with, but she didn't know how well the stallion would get along with him. And she didn't know how her mare would react with an unfamiliar horse. Lilliana looked back at Tyler questionably. "Would Ratchet get along okay with my gelding?" she asked. She didn't know what Tyler rode in, so she wasn't sure if she should ask him to go on a trail ride, or if they should just go to the arena to practice with the horses. Arrow needed a little bit more work on his reining, anyhow. God, she hoped he rode western. If not, she could do some jumps with Melody. [/ul] Tagged; Tyler Wylde Words; 431. TYLER FRANCIS WYLDE ~Take Your Records Take Your Freedom~ Ty could hear her talking as he got his horse all saddled and then once he was fully tacked, Ty brought him around the corner and stood in front of her, tipping his cowboy hit and grinning. At her comment of him being amazing, he couldn't help but smile and pat the stallions neck, the lime green and black tack mixing well against the stallion's ebony coat. Ty chuckled as she then mentioned about her other pets I haven't had any other animal's besides Ratchet .. and thank you .. My uncle tried to talk me out of saving Ratchet but i knew he needed a chance .. Because I did at one point to
Ty then glanced at her two horses and smiled when Ratchet noticed the mare and nickered softly, trying to gain her attention. As Lilly spoke again, Ty grinned and shrugged Ratchet would have showed a sign if he didn't like them so I think either one of them is fine Ratchet snorted lightly and perked his ears as he studied the gelding, his nostrils flared, taking in the scent as he then looked behind him, toward the stable doors. No horse deserved the torture they went through in a slaughterhouse. It was depressing and hell on the poor creatures. They were beaten and starved only to end up half-dead by the end of the whole process, if not dead yet. Lilliana had done some research on slaughterhouses a few years ago, but she never actually rescued a horse. She had protested against them, and signed petitions to outlaw them, but nothing ever went through. It was depressing and pure hell for the horses that endured the pain. It was amazing that Ratchet was as tame as he was. Tyler must have put a lot of work into the horse to get him past a ton of issues. Rescued horses were a lot of work, and took a lot of time to get them ride-able again. Time that Lilliana just didn't have. "Every horse deserves a chance," the girl said, looking at her two. They weren't rescues, but they were her everything. She would be lost without her horses to guide her. They had just as much right to live as any human being did. Now only if the law would compel that. "Just as every person deserves a chance," Lilliana spoke, flashing a smile at the man. There was good and bad in every person, and she believed their surroundings and the people around them influenced those choices. Lilliana was th type of person to help out someone who had been in prison for the last ten years. She didn't usually care what they did, but she knew they had been punished for their crimes. If they were always treated as a criminal, they would continue to be a criminal. However, if they were treated as a good person, they might actually become a good person. Lilliana nodded at the man as he spoke about her gelding. She hooked a lead rope to his halter and tied him up outside his stall. Arrow was a good horse and she knew she could leave him there while she went to go get his tack. She came back, and the gelding hadn't even moved a muscle. He was patient and kind, and ready to be rode. She saddled him up, checking his cinch twice over. She had the experience of not tightening the saddle enough. The blonde wasn't ready to do that again, especially not in front of a cute guy. "Trails or the arena?" she asked the man, ready for anything. Eventually she'd have to get Arrow to spin around the barrels a couple of times, but he would be okay on the trails too. She could make him weave in between the trees to help on his poles.
