Isaac led Raven his stunning 16.1 hand black arabian mare towards Crossfire farms outdoor arena where a series of small jumps just to warm up he'd move them up higher once he and Raven were warmed up and settled into the new area. He swung himself into Raven's black saddle and walked her into the arena closing the gate behind him before walking Raven around the ring once then sending her forward into a nice collected working trot.
Isaac sent Raven forward over the first of the seven jumps set up before taking her over the last six with ease. He then turned her around and took her over the jumps in the opposite direction. Raven's red saddle pad stood out starkly against her dark black coat as did her red bead studded bridle and red leg wraps. Isaac patted Raven' shoulder and hopped off and put all of the jumps a few notches higher before hoping back on and taking Raven over the jumps again from both directions as he had done before when they were lower.
Isaac turned around as he heard approaching hoofbeats on the soft arena dirt as another horse and rider approached the jumping ring where Isaac and Raven where at the moment. Isaac wondered who it was.

The morning brease twirled the rough black strands of hair that hung from the quarter horses mane, previously resting upon the left leather split reign, and banner. The sound of the dark brown stained creacking and quietly squeaking against the white blanket as the stallion moved off Maxxie's leg at the slowest pace he had. Maxxie sat above the stud with confidence looking out from the bright barn opening and to the outdoor arena, sandy ground and good weather to be outside. As the pair reached the outside gate pannel Maxxie moved his hand back to halt the forward movement of the horse. Maxxie knew that Hemy knew what to do with these gates and it swung open toward the arean center and the stallion bent his large body around the bars. Eventually after no need of backing up Maxxie leaned over gently and snapped the arena gate shut with the little clip. Sitting back up and readjusting the saddle a bit he noticed that there was another in the arena. He heard the hoof beats first, then saw the large arabian mare with rider going over the set of jumps, quite high. Impressive, he thought, though Hemy could jump they both greatly preferred western disciples hence the reigning saddle. Maxx watched for a moment, as they went round the course, turning and they flying off the ground until his attention was brought back to the patiently waiting brute. Applying little pressure he complied immediately, starting to move on the rail compliant but rather lazy. The jumper and mare were at the other end of the arean, so he was just trying to give them their space. After a few half circles, Maxxie asked for a bit more, pushing the broute in to a jog. The sun shone down and reflected off the studs coat, but the sun just got in Maxxies eyes so he sat deep and Hemy halted, his head tucked in and ears back. Notes; Hi.

Isaac glanced at the other rider to make he was giving them enough room with his jumping course and noted they were on the far side of the arena with quite a bit of room. He also that they were a black quarter horse a powerfully built one at they and from the strangle looking saddle they had they were most likely a western rider. Isaac patted Raven's shoulder and hopped off and put the jumps up a notch higher before swinging himself back into the saddle. Isaac took Raven over each of the jumps from both directions at a trot like had done for the first few times before he asked Raven to do a flying lead change into a canter it was bit of a choppy messed up flying lead change but it got the job done and considering Isaac's limited knowledge of Dressage it was quite a good attempt and with a few tweaks of his legs and reins the pair were cantering nicely around the jumps in a wide arc before Isaac asked Raven to go over the jumps. He took a quick glance at the other horse and rider to see what they were doing. Hemy's ears swung forward for a moment to see the dismounting english jumper, a jolt of energy shot through his legs with excitement at something new. Maxxie could feel this and pulled sightly ack on the lose reigns, giving him a bit of hey-pay-attention. After that he back focusing and Maxxie pushed him forward in to a lope down the straightaway, slow but not so collected. As they rounded a turn Max looked back at the rider jumping. The jumps were higher still, in a more complex pattern it seemed from this angle. With a shift in weight, Hemy's hindquarters went down and they halted again.
He watched the jumper as they finished off their set and decided that even though in a reigning saddle, he might be able to pull this off. The saddle horn was low enough as not to stab him in the stomach. Pushed on gently and turned to the center of the massive sandy filled area, Hemy moved compliantly. The pair stoppe not to far away, just out of both the horses range, Hemy's black fluffy ear pricked forward watching the mare. He was a friendly stallion, never really misbehaving and he just wanted to play, but Maxxie knew that not all horses were as friendly as he.
"Hello there, mind if we take a go at this?" Maxxie knew how to jump in fact that's the disciple he started out in but it was rude to just go. He asked in the nicest way, with his heavy british accent and all, for he also knew that not all people were friendly.

Isaac slowed Raven to walk and started walking her around the jumps slowly so she could cool off we didn't have a very long or hard work out like we usually would nor did we go as high as usual but it was our first time in this ring and he wanted to get Raven used to the jumps and the area around her no use getting hurt trying to push her when she's in a new arena with sights and sounds.
He glanced up as the Western rider and his horse coming over watching him and Raven. Isaac wondered how long they'd been them watching them for he didn't have long to think before the rider asked they could go through the jumping course. Isaac gave them a curious look wondering of they knew how to jump but he shrugged and moved Raven away from the jumps before saying, "Sure go ahead do you want me to hang around in case you run into a bit of trouble?"
Isaac shrugged to himself as he asked it was question he'd forced to ask whenever he'd ridden at his old stables just in case the rider had a headstrong horse an they needed a hand in case they fell and they need a bit of help collecting their horse.

He was polite, for what a teenage boy could be, Maxxie smiled at him. "If you would like." Pushing Hemy forward at a walk he encountered one of the nearest jumps, the brutes head lowered to take a sniff at it and perk his ears forward. Once he was over the jump Maxxie took him round the arena again, Hemy constantly looking at the jumps, pushing him in to a canter Maxxie rounded the arena once more then turned in down the center of the arena squaring up with the first jump. As they neared it Maxxie hand deja vu moment and remembered when he first started jumping. Hemy made it over cleanly with his head erect and ears forward, a light in his eye.
When the landed the saddle horn at first threatened to stab Maxxie in the stomach, but he quickly sat up, collected Hemy and asked for a lead change. Compliant the his switched ad the cleared the second jump. Granted they looked a bit strange because Maxxie hand to basically curve his body over the horn to make sure it didn't hit him. Hemy stretched out to turn in to the final jump, because all this collectedness in te moment of excitement was to much for him to simply handle. Clearing the last jump, he sat back deep in his saddle and once again Hemy became the good old reigning horse he was designed to be.
Catching their breaths, as that was not the predetermined workout for today, they started to walk back over to the curious rider that had stuck around sitting on his gorgeous black arabian. Maxxie stopped Hemy again to converse, the horse was still breathing a bit hard. "Well that was fun, gave me a bit of trouble with tossing his head, but not bad. We haven't met I'm Maxxie." He would have stuck out his hand but the brown haired boy was just out of reach. Hemy snorted and tossed his head a bit, not wanting to be forgotten from the conversation. "Oh, yes and this broute is Hemy, his real name is kinda long." Maxxie smiled kindly waiting to see it this person would be up for talking.

Isaac nodded pulled Raven to an even slower walk and let her graze slowly by the corner of the arena and hopped off of her onto the fence and watched the Western rider and their horse go through the course. They were pretty good for a mainly western rider he nodded approvingly to himself as he watched the pair go around the course. He also kept an eye on Raven making sure she wasn't wandering off and that she wasn't eating anything she shouldn't be eating.
Isaac nodded to them as the pair made their way over to him and Raven he said, "You're pretty good for a mainly Western Rider and I noticed that might because you had you're reins shorter then he's used to but yeah i'd a pretty good try and nice to meetcha Maxxie and you too Hemy i'm Isaac and this lovely lady is Raven her registered name is Midnight Raven" I gave them a lopsided grin as I hopped back into the saddle

Taz walked the fiesty bay into one of the outdoor areneas, noticing two guys on horses in the ring, one appearing to be western. Miles jogged in, and Taz hoped they woulden't mind her crashing their ring. Taz shortened her reins and squeezed just lightly enough to get Miles into a nice, working walk and a frame. The bay snorted and jigged for a moment, then dropped his head and moved forward. Taz allowed herself a small smile. As difficult as Miles could be, he really did have a nice frame. The black haired girl took her snorting, shying, sometimes bridled, sometimes not gelding around the ring a few times, making several circles and beginning to ask for a few lateral movements. Miles responded stiffly at first, then gave in and bent and relaxed himself. After a few times around, Taz closed her finger a bit more and added a bit more leg and worked the gelding into a trot that didn't contain bucking her off. Making several large circles and a few serpentines, Miles' original facade of idiotacy had pretty much worn off and Taz relaxed a bit. Flatting, Miles was pretty great. Jumping, well, his jumping could use work. About 15 minutes after Taz had gotten her gelding into a pretty steady work at the trot, she egged him into a canter. Miles lunged forward, giving a small squeal and a little buck, but Taz sat it easily and just kept urging the horse into a frame and a working canter. After about 5 minutes, several crow hops, one fairly large buck, and a pretty big bolt, Miles had his mind back on his job. Taz eased the gelding up to a walk and approached the two boys and their horses, both of which were very nice (the horses). She halted Miles, who took the oppurtunity to itch his leg violently, and spoke out: "Hi, I'm Taz. Who are you?"***Notes: Hello everyone!!! ***

I glanced over as I noticed a girl and her horse enter the ring the girl started warming up her horse though her horse gave her quite a bit of trouble with his head and bucking and even bolting around the ring. I shook my head and snorted before I pulled Raven even closer to the corner I did not want to get anywhere near that horse not while it was running around like mad like that and risk having Raven panic or start to act up she had a tendency to do that at times. I sighed as the girl and horse seemed to settle down a bit and come over to me, Raven and maxxie and Hemy. I gave her a smile as I said, "Hi nice to meet you Taz i'm Isaac"

"Hey Isaac. Sorry about Miles, he didn't get out yesterday, and well, you can see how well that turned out!" I gave him a joking smile, and rub Miles on the neck. We've been working for a while, perhaps I could stop and chat for a while. After all, this Isaac guy is kind of cute. "Nice horse," I tell him with a genuine smile. His mare is really pretty, with nice conformation and a good eye. "What's her name? This is Miles, obviously," I reach down and pat Miles on the neck, starteling the gelding and causing him to jump. Quickly shortening my reins, I manage to get the bay to halt and turn my attention back to the boy.

Hemy's ears pricked forward a jolt in his eye with the new horse in the arena being worked in. A bay Maxxie noted when he to turned to see the horse with rider. She seemed small, brown hair and eyes. Hemy stamped his hoof to take his own attention off the backing bay. Though the horse misbehaved she seemed a pretty well off rider in Maxxie's opinion, young though she may be. Issac seemed like a nice boy, he complimented Hemy's run over the rails. Maxxie just nodded to him with a smile before notting the bay approaching.
Hemy stood and watched the gelding, not really moving, he never had a problem with geldings or other horses really, it was all a matter if they had a problem with him. "Hi I'm Taz and the is Miles, who are you?" Issac introduced himself first. Maxxie felt it was only polite to do the same, he glanced down at the sandy bottom before speaking in his heavy british accent. "Ello I'm Maxxie." On cue the black stud with the snip marking tossed his head refusing to be left out of the conversation. "And this is Hemy." He looks up to the girl still perched atop her gelding before glancing back down at Issac. She and him were talking momentarily so he just listened.

I shrugged and said, "It's alright all horses have bad days I know Raven can have her bad days and I guess this would count as a bad day for...Miles" I smiled and patted Raven's shoulder as she turned her head to nudge my foot as if to say, 'hey let's get a move on here i'm bored" I smirked and said, "hanks this Raven she's being a bit impatient today I guess she's excited by all thr new horses and sights and smells it's making her really eager to get moving"
I glanced over as Maxxie introduced himself and Hemy I let my attention wander for a moment as I let Taz reply to Maxxie.

I nodded and smiled at the two boys. The other boy looked western, he had blonde hair and a nice face. He introduced himself politely, and I smiled at this horse, a very handsome black. Isaac made a comment about Miles having a bad day and then about his horse wanting to get moving or something, so I took this as my cue to either politely keep working Miles, like Lord knows he needed it, even though I had already had him out for around 30 minutes, or I could try and get to know Isaac and Maxxie better. I voted on the latter of the two options. I could deal with Miles' crap tomorrow when I tried to jump. "Are you done riding?" I asked the two guys politely, noticing that Isaac had spaced out a bit.

Just as Taz was waiting for the answer to her question, her phone rang, starteling Miles. The bay lept up and spun, and with her loosened reins, Tax didn't think she stood a chance on the freaked-out bay. Miles whirled left, snorting, and Taz lost her iron. Gasping, she hauled back on her reins and managed to halt the bay, who pranced as she fumbled to grab her phone out of her pocket. It was the owner of the apartment building she lived in. Frowning, Taz lifted a finger to single the boys that she was just going to be a moment, then tapped the "Accept Call" Button on her phone. "Hello?" Taz said, and then, after a few moments, nodded gravely and squeezed the bay into a walking, steering him into a circle. She frowned and grunted, then apologized, then said a few more things before hanging up. "Sorry!" Taz squeaked and halted Taz in front of Maxxie and Isaac. "So, you guys done?"
