Taz led her bay gelding into the biggest ring, the jumping ring, as the sun peaked overhead. Miles snorted and pranced next to the girl as she led her horse to set a few of the jumps. Even though Miles had already had a turnout today, and spent time in the pasture, he was hyper. As usual. Working quickly, Taz set the fences to her height, around 3 foot. She had jumped and shown higher, but Miles had been espically fresh lately, and she really just wanted to work on her turns and distances. Leading the bay up to the rail, the skinny 15 year old hopped on and started hacking. Taz started Miles at the walk, asking her horse to walk up into a nice frame and move from behind. As soon as she had created a quality walk, she flexed the horse left and right several times until he had unlocked his poll and was relaxing into the bit. So Taz stepped it up and leg-yielded the horse on and off the rail, trying her best to keep the horse quiet and on the bit. After about 10 minutes of walking exercises, Taz moved the bay into a smooth trot, posting and pressing him into a working gait on the bit. Again, she bent and leg-yielded him until the bay was like butter in her fingertips. It didn't take long for Taz to get Miles comfortable and easy to ride. After about a 1/2 hour of riding, the girl worked the horse into the canter, paying special attention to his transitions. And when she felt her horse was calm and at peace, Taz decided to start jumping. Gathering up her reins after letting Miles catch his breath, Taz moved the bay into a trot and headed him toward a small crossrail. She held her breath as the fence entered the bay's radar, and felt him begin to raise his head in anticipation for the small fence. Murmering reassuring words under her breath, Taz worked the bit and tried to get the bay to relax, to no avail. Miles was a jumper, and went like one. A stride or two away, Miles lurched into a canter and barely shoved an extra step in before awkwardly twisting into the air and jumping the small obstacle. "Oohf!" Taz grunted as the bay landed and hopped up and down. Sitting back and using her upper body strength, Taz managed to halt the bay before he bucked her off. Shaking from her rough jump, Taz turned the bay and walked off. She knew she really needed a trainer, but her family really coulen't afford it. Taz sighed and squeezed the bay into a trot and headed him towards the fence again, this time keeping a tight hold and holding the bay in a tight frame. Taz managed to keep Miles in a trot until the very last step, which he shoved in and once again awkwardly lept over the jump and cantered off. Taz halted, and went for the fence again, trying to get the horse to calm down. NOTES: Hi guys! Open to anyone, please enjoy!

THE WORLD WAS ON FIRE
The calmness of the barn was always something Ellissa loved. Mainly when she could get there before a rush and without anyone there. It made it easier on her. Tacking up her horse Sin, she walked made her way to one of the biggest ring, her helmet in hand as the larger warmblood walked merrily next to her without any hesitation. The two-tone locks of her hair bounced at she made her way to the ring. The horse's ear perking up at the sight of the ring, he was a show off. As she got to the ring, she lent against the fence watching the girl riding in silence for once.
As things she made notes of what the girl could possibly do different, she didn't say around. She wasn't one to say anything unless she was asked or thought it was absolutely needed to be said. Lucky her, she had a gentle giant of a horse. Rarely did he make a fuss, his energy level was high but never horrible. He had his moments but there where more a hissy fit more than anything. Thinking to herself, she was pulled from her thoughts when she heard Sin neigh loudly, pulling her more to the gate. Looking up at horse towering over her, she just shook her head. He was a character on his own. A huge horse that acted like he was a dog at time. Sin and her was made for each other, he was a reject horse more less. A oops foal that she took her under her wig and raised. He was amazing. Maybe that is why he listened to great to her.
Waiting for the girl to make the jump, she walked into the ring, closing the gate behind her. Putting on her helmet, she pulled her self into the saddle of her trusty steed, whom pawed as to say let's go. Holding him back on a loose rein, he made a tad fuss before calming down. "Do you mind if I ride in here?" she questioned to the girl very politely. Some of her accent slurred in her words. Loosing the reins, the bay warmblood walked along the end of the ring, far from the girl, slowly. Being quite content that he was actually being allowed to move. Stopping, Sin lifted his head up and gave a hello neigh to the horse in the ring with him. Before giving a blow like he was trying to be dominated.

Taz was turning back to trot the fence for the tenth time or so, when she saw she had a visitor. A beautiful girl and her bay warmblood stood by the gate, watching. "Do you mind if I ride in here?" The girl asked, very politely. Taz found herself having to repeat the phrase to herself, the girl had quite an accent! And her horse, wow, was her horse gorgeous. He was big, and had the steady look that told you he felt like he could do anything. The kind of horse Taz had always wanted. "Of course not, come right in! We're just going to do a few more fences, then we'll be done. Taz gave the girl a friendly smile, hoping to make the girl feel welcome. "I'm Taz, and this,"Taz pats her snorting, blowing horse softly, "This is Miles. Who are you? Taz tossed her long black hair behind her shoulders as she lightly squeezed the bay into a walk, and halting him in front of the other horse. Taz surveyed the jumps in the areana with scorn. She should have know that Miles was going to be too fresh and excited to jump big. Now she was going to have to just flat him, and once again push off his enourmous amount of energy for another day. Taz turned to the girl and smiled again at her.

THE WORLD WAS ON FIRE
Sin being the curious devil he was, stretching his neck out to smell the horse now planted in front of him. Trying to act tough was his act for today is seem. Ellissa looked over the girl with her eyes before returning the smile."Nice to meet you both," she said sweetly. "I'm Ellissa and this is Sin," she spoke softly. Patting the horse's neck, he picked up his head proudly. As if he was the king, she was pretty sure he believed he was one. Therefore his name fit him completely perfect. King Sinister, he was a king and a sin also.
Looking over at the course already set up, Ellissa made the decision that it was good enough for Sin. For one, Sin had more fun doing higher stuff and low. He was the time of horse that pushed his own levels. "Don't let us distract you, we'll stay out the way until you are." Ellissa had always had the idea of being nice to any other ride. Rather they were rude or riding against her, kill them with kindness. Plus the pair was there first so it was only natural to let them finished before she got in the way. "You seem to have a bundle of energy," she stated looking over the bay horse in front of her once again. His attitude seem to be all about going and that was it.

I'm Ellissa and this is Sin," The girl said softly. Her horse, Sin, looked very big and royal. Taz smiled to herself. He certainly looked like boss horse. Sin streched his neck out to greet Miles, who returned the returned the favor eagerly. "Don't let us distract you, we'll stay out the way until you are." Ellissa said softly. The girl seemed very nice, kind, and sweet. Yay for respectful ring riders! "Oh, you're fine! I'm not going to be much longer, as you can see Miles is being very, very, very fresh, I don't think that he's up to 3ft today, well at least unless I'd like to get bucked off, which is NOT on the agenda! I think I'll just flat him around for a while more and then I'll be done!" Taz nodded to the girl and an idea popped up in her mind. "Hey, after you are done, um, well, would you want to maybe go on a trail ride? Miles will probably be worked down enough to be sane but, um, yeah?" Taz muttered awkardly, inwardly cursing herself for her lack of social skills.

Listen to the girl, Ellissa just nodded and smiled some when she talked about her horse being fresh. How she would love for to ride horse like that. Sin was her baby but she did miss the fiery of a horse at times. "We would love to go on the trails." Ellissa said very excitley. Since being here, she didn't really have a social life. Though she had a feeling her looks had something to do with it. She was pretty odd looking and people judged her quickly on that.
"I just need to excise him a bit, he is starting to think he is on vacation." Gathering her reins in her hands. Feeling Sin danced some under her, she patted his neck. Backing him up some she gave him reins as he started in a trot. Trotting him in a small circle, she pointed him to a smaller jump. Trotting to it he hopped over it like it was a trot pole. Making sure to stay out the other rider's way, she took him around the outside jumps. Sin ears pinned forward at every jump. Cantering to the bigger jumps Sin excitedly jumped them with easy. Never lossing his form and paying attention to his ride. [/blockquote]

Taz watched in amazement as the older girl rode her horse around the course. Ellissa made it look so easy! Taz gathered up Miles' reins and moved the bay into a canter, keeping one eye on Ellissa and Sin all the time, careful to stay out of the snazzy bay's way. Working her horse on the bit, Taz counter-cantered Miles around the ring a few times. Her bay horse was beginning to calm down for the first time in weeks, since she had been riding for around an hour now. Sweat and foam criss-crossed Miles' neck as the halted the horse and backed him up, then pressed him into a trot. Taz had been lucky enough to never have to deal with a lameness, but she thanked her lucky stars each and every day that Miles trotted out sound and strong. Like right now. The bay, as sweaty and out-of-shape as he was, still marched along, pulling on the reins and begging for a chance to take off. After a few more minutes of trot work, Taz relaxed her reins and let the bay walk, turning to watch Ellissa and Sin ride. "Almost ready?" She called out with a smile. Taz haden't been on trail for ages, espically with a person.

Riding Sin was like a dream to Ellisa at least. Sin's whole youth age dreamed of riding him. Thanks to him she held a spot in the top. There was no other horse she would rather be in the top on than they bay warmblood she rode faithfully . Some people had ideas that Sin did all the work but no one knew the hours she slaved away training him and working with him to be the horse he once was. Running the course a time once more, Sin made no mistake minus the fact he took the last jump way too soon leading a stride or two out. Mistakes happens so Ellissa never was hard on him. "Okay ready." Ellisa said dropping her reins patting the sweaty horse's neck. Sin trotting at a smooth pace to the pair. Stopping on his own in front of them. Tossing his head being the brat and character he truly was.

Taz clucked to her horse as she rode him towards Ellissa and Sin. Taz gave a friendly smile as she passed, heading her bay toward the gate. "I'm so excited to go on trail with you! I haven't been in ages"b] Taz leaned back to give Ellissa a happy grin. "Is there anywhere special you want to go?" Taz's own words suprized her. She really hadn't ment to say those words. It's not that Taz didn't want to go exploring with Ellissa, but, well, Taz had a special place, a place she wasn't ready to share with anyone but Miles and the memory of her dad. It was a quiet grove by a small stream, a place that she went when she needed to be alone with her horse. Taz had spent hours just laying on her back and staring at the trees, hearing Miles crunch the grass, and thinking, wondering, and pondering about life.
**NOTES- Do you think we should start a new post in trails? ***

Ellissa shrugged her shoulders as she rubbed the sweaty horse neck. Honestly, she hadn't really been on the trails. She was still just trying to get things settled in her head it seem so there was no time for pleasure and fun it seem. "No not really. I mean I haven't really been on them, you know." Ellissa shrugged again, sitting up in the saddle. Sin would have gladly went where ever she asked but time wasn't something she had much of. Back home, she couldn't remember all the times she had taken a trail with the warmblood. He loved it, she loved it. "Any place is good." [/blockquote] notes: i would say yes we should.
