Not because she didn't know guys or didn't like going on dates or anything. No that wasn't the case at all. She just never seemed to have a free second to actually go on a date. She was always at work or at the stables. And if she wasn't in either of those places she was hanging out with the guys. They really had retaken over her life when she got back home. It wasn't like she didn't love spending time with them, but Parker couldn't be single forever. Not that it was a huge problem, but one day she did want to be married and have kids. Not necessarily really soon, but how was she ever going to find what she liked in a guy or even the guy if she didn't date around. So when some cute guy who had basically talked to her all night long at The Basement a few nights prior asked her on a date she cheerfully accepted.
It wasn't really anything out of the ordinary. Just dinner and getting to know one another without music blasting and lights flashing in front of their eyes every few seconds. She had really enjoyed it. He had at least turned out to not be a total creep and was fun to hang out with. She didn't know if it really would go anywhere past a first date, but she was having fun nonetheless. As the date came to the close Parker had the decision of asking the man back to her apartment or just telling him that she could easily be on her own way. As she weighed the pros and cons she came to one conclusion. Even though Parker wasn't one to sleep around she did have needs. And this was a rare thing to happen. She doubted she would ever see the man again so why not just go for the one night stand. She figured he would probably slink away in the morning anyways.
Without another thought she invited him back to her apartment, letting him know the address. Thankfully where they were wasn't far from where she lived. As they reached her floor she took out her keys with a smile. 'Well this is where I live,' she said sticking the key into the lock and going to open the door. What she found was not optimal for what she had planned for the night. Of course they were there. It was a Friday night. They probably had nothing better to do. Probably figured that she was at work and they would just take over her apartment and wait till she got home. Didn't they have something better to be doing on a Friday night? Work. Or girls. Or partying? Not playing video games on her big screen tv in her apartment. She let out a sigh and turned back to Daniel. 'Sorry about them. Maybe another night?' With a nod and kiss on her cheek the man left. She wasn't sure how she felt about that kiss. They weren't even dating. This was a first date. She wouldn't dwell on it.
She shut her door a little forcefully and turned to glare at the guys. There they sat on her couch looking all innocent and she could tell they were trying to keep their childish giggles in. She marched up to where they were and glared a bit more. 'Don't y'all have something better to do on a Friday night?' She looked at each of them and with a sigh she turned and sat on Nick, who was sitting in the corner, and let her legs drape over Griffin and Scott. 'Seriously I think y'all are here more than I am.' you tell me i'm a wreck, you say that i'm a [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 0b0b0b; width: 399px; padding: 5 5 5 5px; border-bottom: 12px solid #355e65; border-top: 12px solid #355e65;]mess, how could you expect anything less It wasn’t a rare occurrence, Nick, Griffin and himself taking over Parker’s apartment. Then again, she was usually home when it happened, for the most part anyway, and she was supposed to be that night but when they had arrived she wasn’t. They had a key to her apartment each anyway, so it wasn’t like it was a problem, they had just let themselves in and gone on the usual routine, figuring that she had probably just gone out and she would be back later, knowing that she wouldn’t really have a problem with them doing this… unless she happened to come back with someone, of course.
They had been at her apartment for a couple of hours, sitting around doing fuck all really, then again, they would be doing exactly the same thing if they had been at their own homes, probably, but here there was company… well, he had Morgan at home but there weren’t many times where Inez wasn’t at his house, it seemed, and tonight didn’t seem like an exception to that rule. He worked with the girl, and now he had just gotten used to her just walking into his house unannounced, it didn’t even surprise him anymore. She’d walk in, they would say hey, and he would carry on with whatever it was he had been doing usually.
He only just heard the door open over the sound of the television, and them talking to each other, maybe he wouldn’t have even noticed if it hadn’t been for the fact he heard Parker speaking to somebody, turning his head to look in the direction of the door to the apartment, spotting their friend there with some random guy… who she had obviously been on a date with, by the looks of it. And finding the fact her apartment wasn’t as empty as she thought looked like it put an end to whatever other plans she’d had too.
It was hard to keep a straight face the whole time, as she said goodbye, and shut the door, the glare on her face just making it harder when she turned back to look at them, but he managed it, somehow. Barely, though. “Well, my house is currently being taken over by teenage girl so… no, not really,” he answered, watching as she sat down on Nick, moving his hands so that she could lay her legs across himself and Griffin. “Not sure what their excuses are though,” he added, glancing over at Nick and Griff as he spoke. jess/mae | 422 | outfit | whee a post |

Griffin had never really been a very social creature. His earliest interactions with other people had always been painful and... well traumatizing. Then there was his whole rage issue which seemed to come up more often as he got older. Really, he was lucky that the few friends he had managed to make had stuck around for this long. What really surprised him about Parker and Nick was that they never really seemed to question it. They'd known him since he was quite young, so it was entirely possible that they just grew used to his outbursts in the same way that he had, but he was still surprised that they didn't seem to mind. He'd never really gone off completely at Parker... it was easier for him to maintain control with women, since most of his issues were with his father, but there had been a few occasions where Nick had been the unfortunate recipient of Griffin's fury. He hadn't ever beat him up really, buut physical altercations had happened on a few occasions.
The more time Griffin had spent with the three of them, the easier it had been for him to adjust to not feeling like he needed to kill them whenever he was around them. It wasn't so much that the rage was gone it was just that with people he was around as often as Parker, Nick, and Scott, he tended to learn how to keep better control. He could figure out what it was that set him off and gradually teach himself to not let that thing bother him. It was different with every person which made it hard to function in social settings around people who he didn't know or didn't particularly care for... but so long as it was just the four of them he usually did just fine. It was refreshing, really, to be around people who weren't afraid of him or constantly judging him. There weren't many places where he actually felt like he could belong.
Victoria was not someone he felt like he belonged with. Victoria was something entirely different from everything he had ever known. He couldn't understand why he was so attached to her or what it was about the spoiled rich girl that had him wrapped around her finger, but she had just waltzed right into his life and destroyed his comfort zone. She dragged him out to social things with rich people, she forced him into clothes that rich people would wear, and on more than one occasion she'd tried to convince him to go to a salon for waxing or manicures or "fixing" his hair... but there was no way in hell he would go that far. He would wear the monkey suit, and he would go to her elitest parties, but he wasn't going to be primped and preened like a pet cockapoo. That was never happening.
Griffin had never felt more out of place than he did at the social outings Victoria took him to. These were the very people who he hated, who looked down on him and judged him. These were the people who wouldn't give him a chance if his life depended on it. Ha'd never felt the urge to kill someone more strongly than when he was there, and it was a miracle that he'd lasted without hurting someone for as long as he had. Of course, it all ended yesterday when a rather arrogant prick of a polo player had decided that he needed to lay claim on Victoria with Griffin standing right there. That hadn't gone over well with Griffin, and it certainly hadn't helped the man's case as he started gloating over all of his spectacular achievements. The last straw had been when he looked to Griffin, sizing him up, and with a sneer said "And what are you?"
"Victoria is on the war path." Griffin said with a shrug as Parker flopped down across the three of them after disposing of... well whatever that guy had been. She hadn't looked too pleased to see them there, so he could only imagine that she'd had sexual intentions with him which were immediately foiled when they walked in and saw the three of them there on the couch. "I broke her betrothed's nose yesterday. It's safer here." It was really no secret what Victoria was like or what she put him through, so he figured that they wouldn't really be all that surprised that he'd finally cracked under the pressure. They were used to him showing up bloodied and bruised from fights, so breaking some rich prick's nose was really not out of character for him at all.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 101010; border: #262626 solid 10px; width: 515px; padding: 5 5 5 5px;]Tonight had turned into one of those typical nights where all three of them were bored and had nothing else to do, and on those nights they usually ended up crashing Parker’s apartment, and tonight hadn’t been any different. He hadn’t had any bookings for the night, which he didn’t mind since he had been working every night this week already and he needed a night off, so when it became apparent that both Scott and Griff needed to get out of their respective homes for the night they had all headed over to Parker’s. She hadn’t been home but they had let themselves in anyway, as usual.
Then again, none of them had been expecting her to bring someone home with her when she did eventually get there, holding back a laugh at the expression on the guy’s face when he realised there were three males currently lounging on her couch inside the apartment once she’d opened the door, just making sure that he looked straight ahead at the television so he wouldn’t end up cracking. She sent him off, and only then did he turn his attention back to her, still trying to contain the amused grin that threatened to break out over his face.
“Well, my excuse isn’t nearly as good as either of theirs… I didn’t have work tonight so I was bored,” he answered, moving his arms so that she could sit on his lap, putting one around her waist and the other left casually resting over her legs after she had spread them across the other two males. “Although to be fair you didn’t tell us you had a date tonight, otherwise you know we would have stuck to my apartment or something,” he said pointedly, grinning at her then. Well, if they had known they wouldn’t have interrupted it… maybe… no, they probably wouldn’t have, even if the thought would have been extremely tempting. - - - - - - - - - - it doesn't matter when we get back to doing what we do, 'cause right now could last forever just as long as i'm with you, you're just a daydream away, i wouldn't know what to say if i had you, and i'll keep you a daydream away, just watch from a safe place, so i never have to lose |

I'M HERE TONIGHT - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/style] [style=font-family:tahoma; font-size:10px; letter-spacing:0px; color: #6FB0D5; text-align:justify]Parker scowled at the three boys a little as she made herself more comfortable on Nick’s lap. Most days she didn’t mind them being there, but today had been different. She never went on dates and well she was trying to broaden her horizons. Plus she was trying to suppress her feelings for Nick and the only way to do that was go out with someone else. So coming home and sitting on his lap probably wasn’t the best thing she could have done, but it was her only option. Well not her only option, but they were taking up her whole couch. Where else was she supposed to sit?
‘Couldn’t you three go to Nick’s for a change or something? Why my place?’ She shook her head letting out a deep breath. She looked at Griff and shook her head. Of course he was hiding out from Victoria. It seemed that was the main reason Griff ever hung out with them. Not that she thought he didn’t like his friends, not in the least bit, but she was pretty sure that most times when he was with them it was because he was hiding from Victoria for one reason or another. ‘You’re a genius Griff. That’s the way to win a girl’s heart.’ Parker was feeling a bit more snarky because she was not pleased in the slightest that they had crashed her date and she had yet let go of the slight heat that bubbled under the surface.
She turned her attention to Nick, lips pursed trying hard to keep the look on her face. She couldn’t stay mad at him though. The other two? Fine easy. But this was Nick. No matter how annoyed she was that him being here ruined her date she didn’t mind. Truth be told she wished that the date had been with Nick, but that’s not something that would ever happen. ‘That’s a lie. You three would have been here regardless. Difference is that if I had told you I was on a date you three would be sitting here ready to question him.’ She sighed and moved to rest her head on Nick’s shoulder feeling her annoyance melt away just by Nick’s small touch.
