Finally, i could ride!!! Perfect weather with a perfect day, not to cold not to hot. Entering the barn i couldn't wait to get Bingo out from the field and ride him!!!! I hadn't had the change since i arrived. I grabbed Bingo's head collar as quickly as i could, rushing down to the field i was filled with excitement getting to ride Bingo and being with him for sometime.
I arrived down at the field and Bingo pricked his ears and turned to look at me as i arrived at the gate. Hey boy!!! Bingo neighed to me and came trotting over with curiosity. I smiled as he came over, i loved him so much. Bingo sniffed around me, knowing he would find my hidden carrot, Fishing it out i held it just out in front of me for Bingo. He took it gently and started chomping on it, He took the whole thing his mouth in on one!!!It really made me laugh the way he pushed it around in his mouth!
I unbolted the gate and went round, slipped Bingo's head collar on and led him out down towards the stables shutting the gate behind me. As I arrived at the barn i popped Bingo in his stable tied to the special place set up and quickly went to get my grooming kit and tack. I was going to give him a through brush down so he was shinning!!
I brushed over with a dandy brush getting all the dry mud off from where Bingo had rolled, once i had done this i flicked over his whole body with a body brush making sure i didn't miss a single spot. I finished this after a while, i then got the main and tail brush and thoroughly brushed through the main and tail soothing it out, not missing a single spot.
After a while I had finished and tacked up, this didn't take to long. I grabbed my hat and chaps, popped them on and lead Bingo out toward the ring.

Violet bit her lip as they approached the last fence in the course. So far, her Hanoverian mare had been shaky, which was of course the exact opposite of what she wanted. Violet needed Witch to be in tip top shape for the eventing competition they were entered in. She urged the mare towards the jump: a vertical that stood about 3 feet tall. She felt Witch hesitate and begin to falter as she counted the strides to the fence. Violet squeezed the mare slightly, leaning forward to encourage the black mare onward. Witch took the hint and soared effortlessly over the vertical, landing with a soft thump. It concerned Violet, how much the mare was put off by their recent move to Texas. Then again, it had only been a week since they'd gotten there and this was the pair's first real ride since the move. Still... Violet urged her horse to pick up the canter again, steering her towards the beginning of the course one more time. Maybe now that they'd run it once, Witch would have more confidence. Just as they finished the course again in much better form, Witch's slender dark ears perked forward towards the gate. Violet glanced up from patting the Hanoverian's shoulder to spot another horse and rider making their way to the ring. She waved in greeting, inviting them in. Some people hated schooling their horses with other riders in the ring, but Violet loved company.

As I got closer towards the ring I realized there was already someone in it. I was annoyed, i knew some riders hated having other riders in the ring at the same time as them, I didn't see what the big deal was about it. It was a good thing, they can help you with your position and anything else they spot that your doing wrong, it improves you loads riding with company. Then you can do the same back and help them out!!!
I was going to turn around and go some place else to excersize Bingo, it was then that i realized that the girl was waving for me to come in. I grinned and was relieved, she looked like a really nice person. Approaching the gate I unbolted it and slipped the bolt back together once i was inside. I walked Bingo over to the mounting block and then climbed, slipped my foot in the stirrup and gently swung my leg over sliding neatly into the saddle.
I picked up a walk going gently around the ring warming Bingo up gently.
