personality » Gustavo is a rather easy going guy (except when it comes to horses), but he is also very opinionated. His personality can occasionally come across as overbearing, especially when he is around horses, but once people get to know him it's fairly easy to overlook that part of his personality. He usually gets along with people, but if you go about touting that you know what you're doing when it comes to riding and training horses, but your "methods" don't yield results, he'll tell you just exactly what he thinks you are doing wrong, and if you just blow him off, he'll write you off as an imbecile.
WE'LL TAKE CONTROL OF THE WORLD,
appearance » Gustavo is a good 6', and a relatively slender guy with good muscle-tone. He has black hair and brown eyes as well as decently tanned skin showing off his Brazilian heritage. In general he is a bit scruffy, but never goes for an all out beard or anything like that. He tends to dress very casually, but he cleans up very nicely when he needs to.

life history » Gustavo was the first born child of Bernardo and Larissa who had inherited the very successful "Brazilian Beach House Co." from Bernardo's father when he passed away. They were a very wel off couple, who decided to have kids after they'd "made it big." Gustavo was first, then twin girls, Andressa and Sabrina, followed up by Jose. They were a fairly normal family, with a good sense for business and a talent for attracting vacationing tourists to their hotels and beach houses, which turned over a good profit, and in turn left their children to be ever so slightly spoiled.
Gustavo and Jose both were very much into soccer from a young age, mostly because that was just what everyone did in Brazil, but Gustavo also had an eye for horses, and as the son of wealthy parents, he was given a pony when he was 10... and he hated that little thing every so much. He never did get along with the pony and was bucked off more often than not. At 13 they sold the pony and bought a packer of an eventing horse that only had a few years left in its competitive ability, but was jut the right horse for Gustavo. For his 16th birthday, after his horse was retired from competition he was given a 15 year old thoroughbred gelding that was fit to take him to the top of the local eventing circuit, which he competed on all through high school, doing as well as a distracted teen aged boy could do on a horse.
He graduated high school at 18 and went on to business school, taking the horse with him, but not competing for the first two years of college. At 21 he joined the college equestrian team, and graduated at 23. As was tradition in the Gianechinni family, he was immediately hired as an employee of Brazilian Beach House Co., his particular position being "business manager." He worked there for the better part of two years, still competing now on a 10 year old thoroughbred stallion, before he decided that he wanted to try something different and headed off to the U.S. with his two horses to try his hand at the eventing circuit there, while still managing the business portion of the BBHC from afar.

breed » Canadian Thoroughbred
height » 16.3h

personality » Chefe is the sort of horse who just goes on cruise control. Once you get him up to the pace you want him at he'll just stay that way and cruise right along. He does, however, sometimes need some encouragement to get going faster. He has a big scopey jump and has been there and done that.
