addison high

Addison High is often mentioned for its great great academic and sports program. The high school isn't the biggest around, but has two buildings with two different stories and a large variety of classes for students to take, no one complains about its size. There is a swimming pool on the campus, a huge heated and air-conditioned gym, and two large grass fields for the different sports teams to practice.

university of addison

Often referred to as UOA, University of Addison is one the largest university's in Texas. Most of the students from the high school don't need to leave town since there is almost every course imaginable offered here. Like the high school, they have a wonderful sports program and tons of scholarships for students to win. For those who come from out of state, there are dorm rooms available and are spacious and comfortable with student's comfort and safety at top priority. There is even an on campus coffee shop that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for those days where you need wireless internet and free coffee refills.

recreation center

Newly added and filled with many features, the Recreation Center is a very popular place for Addison residents regardless of their age. The facility itself is enormous. There is a large, up to date gym for woman and men, three large fields for sports events, a track to run on, and there is also an ice skating rink and a swimming facility.

the basement

The Basement is the place where the party never stops, no matter what day it is. The Basement is the biggest, and the hottest club in town. Formed from what originally was an underground parking lot and after a long period of construction turned into a club. The music is always pounding away with a constant change of DJ's and it's not uncommon to find many drinking and dancing their sorrows away. The club is only open to those who are nineteen and up, and only serves alcohol to those over the age of twenty one. That doesn't stop younger people from weaseling their way in, even if the bouncers outside of the club are huge.

the hyde

The Hyde is a smaller, more run down club than The Basement (it is also conveniently located right beside it). Most who can't get into The Basement just walk over to The Hyde. There are strippers four days a week, and every Tuesday they give out free shots after you buy two drinks. This club is known for letting minors in and drink without any I.D., there are many occasions where the police have had to step in and escort people from the premise. It isn't the cleanest place, but there is always something going on.

molly's saloon

There's rumors about Molly's Saloon that the bar has been around for centuries, dating back to the era of the old west. There are photos of cowboys and Native American artifacts hanging up on the wall, there's even 'photos' of the saloon when it first opened up. Molly's Saloon offers a few dinner items but are famous for their 50 cent beers every Monday and Thursday evening. Whatever the age of the saloon, it's still a popular place for people who just want to drink.

adam's cove

If you don’t fancy (or can’t afford) living in the suburbs, the estate or an apartment, the trailer park is the perfect place for you. You may be a little too close to your neighbours for comfort, and sure there can be some pretty shifty and strange people around, but it sure is an interesting place to live.

Board Description
west addison
Not exactly the serene, yet bustling city life that East Addison is, West Addison is an attraction for mostly the 'younger' scene. West Addison features a couple clubs and bars. Not surprisingly Addison University is located in West Addison, as is Addison High School and the newly added Addison Recreation Center.
