Located near the popular Addison lake, Lakewood Grove is a quiet, safe neighborhood. This being said, the neighborhood is large and consists of quite a few streets. The housing ranges from small, single ranchers to three story houses. Although the size may vary, they all have similarities that keeps the neighborhood looking tidy and organized. Everyone seems to know each other around here, and it is a great place for anyone to live.

Brentwood Estates is perhaps Addison’s most wealthy neighbourhood. Most of the houses are large, stylish and fancy (not to mention they sell at a ridiculous price) and their residents match their abodes, and the entrance to the estate itself is gated. There is even a country club located on the estate, for those who wish to become members.

A small local bakery located just outside out of Lakewood Grove. It's a small, cheery diner who had been run by the same lady and her daughter for ten years. They make everything imaginable from wedding cakes to cookies, all for a good price. Some of the frequent customers come here daily and get free samples of sweets. Ironically, even with its name, they make sugar free muffins to cookies for those who are diabetic. Not only do they bake amazing treats, but they make many different caffeinated beverages with free coffee refills.

Safeway is the closest and most convince grocery store for the residents of Lakewood. Safeway has been run by the Safeway family for at least one hundred years, handed down from father to son as the generations passed. Safeway is as homely as the entire North Addison area is, boasting the lowest prices Safeway even has a walk in clinic that offers flu shots seasonally and treats other various, non-life threatening situations. They've also got a pharmacy so you don't have to drive so far to get your prescription filled.

Unlike the Sugar Shack, Vintage Brew focuses on just coffee. Established 15 years ago by Mr. Harrison in memory of his wife who had always wanted to own a coffee shop, Vintage Brew is famous around town for its 105 different brews from around the world. Just like a Starbucks with a touch of home.

Addison’s local veterinarian clinic caters to animals both big and small, with a clinic for smaller pets, stables for their equine inpatients and they even do house calls to Crossfire when needed. They also run an animal shelter alongside them, so if you’re considering adopting a pet, this is definitely the best place to come and do so.
